Can anyone tell me anything about wireless home theater systems? Is there such a thing? And does anybody have any links so I can check them out?

I believe the general opinion of them is poor at best. They are out there, but not even close to the quality it should be.

What are you trying to do, wireless audio or video or both? Yes, in general their quality is far from their wired counterpart, especially video. Wireless audio (line-level audio), however, may be acceptable to you if you are not very demending on your listening needs, or simply need to have a pair of speakers out on the deck once in a while.
