Pump Up The Bass...

I tried doing a search for this (I know I say it somewhere before) so pardon my redundancy...

I have a Sony SAWM40 subwoofer and it sounds pretty good for movies, but when I play a music CD it gets really boomy. I would like to get advice for insulation installation and I remember someone suggesting something to raise the box off the ground.

Currently, the only place I can put it without my wife getting pissed off is in the corner directly behind the television (the entertainment center is diagonally butted between 2 walls).

Any feedback would be appreicated.

I placed about 16 ounces of fiber fill in the box. That really tightened up the bass. I bought the fiber fill at Walmart in the crafts section.
