Paradigm studio 20 v studio 40
I have the opportunity to get one of the other speakers , i have read some reviews and will try to find a local dealer to listen to them. Any thoughts on the subject, i have a sony receiver which i will upgrade in the future. My current speakers are very old and i need to upgrade to some quality.
I will use 80% for movies , i also have a sony wm40 sub and infinty bookshelfs for rear speakers. I want to get a matching paradigm center speaker at some point.

Are these the Paradigm Reference series Studio 20/40?
If so, these are some of my favorite speakers under $1000. They are fantastic for music, and (with a good sub) would make a formidable home theater setup.
Since they also have a fairly high impedance, they would probably pair fairly well with a receiver, unlike many other higher end loudspeakers.

The Paradigm studio line are excellent speakers.
The Studio 60s are also very nice. If you can hack the extra
coinage, go for the Studio 60s. (If you were more into music,
I would say look closely at the 20s, which are fantastic for
2-channel listening.) But at 80% HT, the Studio 60s should serve
you very, very well.
FYI, here's a model breakdown:

To find a local Reference dealer, just go here:

Remember to bring your own CDs.
Good luck!
