is it my dvd player or is "earth to the moon" a bad dvd?
i just got my new sony 36" xbr 450 and have enjoyed rewatching my dvd's in its digital
broadcast, like ants, bug's life, toy story, 5th element and so on..until i came upon
hbo's from earth to the moon dvd where there was abundant scenes that showed alot of jagged edges in the picture that i had a hard time watching the movie...
my dvd player is a toshiba 3109
and i have calibrated my tv with video essential and platinum dvd...
i know there has been alot of praises on this dvd....
so...do i have a bad copy of this movie?????

I dunno if that player has the feature , but I had the same problem with "from the earth to the moon" on my PS2 and I used the "diagnosis" feature and that fixed it for good. Maybe check the owners manual for the DVD player see if there is something like that.

I haven't played this disc in awhile but I loaned them to my father and his new JVC player started scrambling the picture on 2 of the 4 discs. The discs might be hit or miss on certain brand players.
