Are there any 16:9 TVs under $1000?
This is mostly out of curiousity, but do they make 16:9 TVs this cheap? I really have no money to spend on a new 16:9 TV right now, but when I do, I wont be able to spend very much.
Also, another (dumb) question: Are all 16:9 TVs HDTV? Or do they make 16:9 that aren't HDTV? Thanks.

The cheapest 16:9 I've seen is about $1470. (Toshiba 40H80)
Almost all 16:9's are HDTV. A few companies have tried non-HD 16:9's but they didn't sell well. I would wait and save up for a TV like the Toshiba above. The picture is a lot better than a standard RPTV.

The cheapest non-HD 16:9 set I've seen is the 30" Direct View Samsung TSK3092WF (EDTV Monitor) at Costco for $1,299. Here is some info:
