argh! out of the four remotes i have, i lost the most expensive one to the receiver. it's one of those sony remotes with an LCD screen on it. i looked on the sony style store, but they weren't selling it. does anyone have any idea if you can replace these things?
thanks,
qs

I'm sure if you call Sony you could replace it, but it's gonna cost you a bundle. You're probably better off buying Sony's(or Philips) universal LCD remote if you want the LCD screen...

Check out the Sony touchscreen remote, model RM-AV2100. Very nice remote that can had for about 100 bucks or less online (checkout www.ecost.com). I have been using this for awhile now, and though not nearly as customizable as a unit such as the pronto, it everything I need it to do and is about 200 bucks less.

I have one of those Sony remotes but I never use it cause I think the interface is a little to clunky, plus it doesn't run my other equipment that well.
If you want a cheap replacement with great value go for the One for All Cinema 7.
