If so is your cable box a General Instrument? If it is I have that and it's has the Dolby Digital Symbol and I really dont have access to the back of mine and I was wondering how am I supposed to get DD sound. I was able to see a little in the back and I see no digital optical spots. Can anyone that has one of they boxes tell me if there is digital optical in the back or how I'm supposed to get DD? Thanks

All the boxes include the DD symbol on the front, depending on your provider you may or may not receive a surround or optical output on the back. In the SF Bay area, I haven't seen any with the right hook ups to provide surround.
