Just got one of these and it is truly fantastic. It holds 301 dvd/cds. While I have more than that, I only have about 100 or so that I consider worthy of being in a full time deal. The onscreen menu shows a thumbnail of the dvd, you have different folders, can look under different genres, etc. 2 sided disc? No problem, this will flip the disc inside the machine and keep going.
Just starting to have some fun with it now, but this is truly incredible.

Don't head for Best Buy yet until you do some research, DVDtalkers. Hope it works out for you, but I'd beware. These carousels have enough problems (I've had problems with a CD player), so I wouldn't want to spend over $250 on one, myself...

I don't know, why would you want to take 300 dvds out of their boxes and stick them into that player. Plus are you that lazy you can't get up and switch disks.
Plus who will watch more than 2 in a row, well maybe 3/4 max.
I think that 5disc is more than enough

Forgot to add that if you have an LCD programmable remote (like a Pronto) another benefit is that you have instant access to all of your titles organized using any schema you like.

One of the things that the reviews are right on about is that very few discs have thumbnail info etc. on them currently. Not a big deal for me since you can input with a keyboard. I have certainly enjoyed it, thus far.
