Try here first if you really want to purchase the Tosh. Best prices on the net & certified Tosh reseller. For the saving over 800.com you can bump it up to a 36" set.

I've had a 27" Tosh for about 3yr and have been very happy with it. The only downside is the screen is a bit more curved than some other brands (don't know if they're still that way), but still looks great to me.

I just purchased the 36A60. 2 tuner set. Haven't hooked it up yet since I'm still waiting for the amoire to be delivered. I also have a toshiba SD3109 DVD player and picked up a pair of Component cables from http://www.bettercables.com
I have seen this set at BJ's for $708. Might want to take a look at it.

I just got a 36a60 as well. Best Buy had a good sale going on them. I got mine for $699. Strangely over the web the set was listed higher then in the store so you may want to take a look if you have a Best Buy near you. I also have a Toshiba dvd player hooked via component cables or as Toshiba calls it Colorstream. It took abit to tweak the picture for watching directv but imho DVD's look fantastic. I upgraded for and older 27inch Toshiba.

travlr, which cables did you end up getting for your color stream? I have purchased the Silver Serpents from http://www.bettercables.com
I haven't hooked mine up yet (still working on the house) but from what I have read everyone claims by them (http://www.audioreview.com/reviews/cable/index_B.shtml)
I also picked up the Avia Home Theatre DVD to help tweak the TV settings. That'll be the first thing I do once I get everything connected.

powaking I just went with monsters mv2cv. I also spent some time in service mood playing. I only played with the height and width to do a bit of squeezing. Maybe I'll get brave and do the geometry.
