i've been high on getting a decent progressive player since i first tried out a Tosh 5109 w/ my set in Feb. it was hard to take it back, but i knew if i waited a few months, something even better and cheaper would be out. Then all the talk was about the Denon 2800 being akin to the second coming. well, that one didn't pan out so well, then panasonic and sony released in-expensive players. the pan seems to be a good unit, but there are still some issues i have to investigate closer.
But now the ones i'm really salivating for are the new Kenwoods due in sept. hopefully with actual street prices under $1k these could really turn out to be something special. and with the way i'll be working the soonest i'll actually get time to use it will be late Oct. hopefully by then all the bugs will have been found and catalouged and i'll have a firmer grasp on the best option. only 5 more months till video nirvana.
then i can start looking closer at those front projectors
