just got the panasonic dvd-lv75 from jandr.com for $619. try to beat that. even though this palyer has been repalced by a newer model, who cares? it is the same thing. this thing is awesome! the only player i would have considered over it is the new toshiba 8 inch screen. but for this price, anyone who reads this thread is nuts not to jump at it.(or just too poor to scrape the moola up, which is sad and unfortunate)

That part we knew!

-------------

My portable DVD player has a 15" screen and a subwoofer and it cost me $850.00.

My company subsidized my last laptop purchase, so I paid the extra for the features I wanted.

Oh, sorry. I didn't realize you meant this as a bargain post. I thought you were just telling us of your good luck.

You're right that is a great price and find.

Then congratulations on being so tenacious. Sometimes it's an effort to get helpful information across around here.

But I'm still poor. Gotta go, the voices are calling me again...

I've owned this player for a few months and bought it for $650 shipped. It is a great player, very lightweight, awesome sound with headphones, awesome picture. My only complaint is the picture shrinkage with non-anamorphic DVDs. I hope they fixed this problem in the new model.
