Ok. I have a KENWOOD HOMETHEATER SYSTEM (DD 5.1) that's 480 Watts.

I've decided to make a bit of an upgrade. So suppose I buy a PIONEER receiver that's 500 watts (dd 5.1/dts), can I take my KEENWOOD speakers/subwoofer and use them on the PIONEER RECEIVER?

Any help would be apprechiated.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can, as long as you don't BLAST the speakers. The 20 watts shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Of course, I did the opposite, I had speakes that overpowered my receiver...
