Hi American :-)!
I have a Closed Caption decoder by Hitach home and it can read CC not only from PAL tapes also from NTSC tapes without problems.
But my CC decoder can't read caption from US-DVDs. In Europe are DVDs with CC not available, just subtitle.
Does any one from you can help me how I can read CC from US-DVDs?
Why do US-DVDs have CC? Why don't you use sub-title (also for hearing-impaired) instead CC? CC normaly doesn't belong on DVD!
