Future Shop / Best Buy Canada Steelbook Group Buying Program
I have been receiveing a few requests for help in obtaining Future Shop exclusive Steelbooks and I thought that both Canadian and US collectors can work together to help each other out and save some money.
Here is how the program would work.
The people on my list can contact me to order any new Future Shop Steelbooks. They would pay actual cost (this can be verified by going to Future Shop's website) + Provincial sales tax (7%) and Goods and Service Tax (5%).
Shipping would be actual cost (this can be verified by going to the Canada Post's website) and the following options are available for one (1) single or double disc Steelbook:
Small Packet Air - $8.55 (approx 1-3 weeks)
Small Packet Surface - $7.20 (approx 4-6 weeks)
The cheapest shipping method would be in a bubble mailer for $6.40 but I do not recommend this, as it is my experience that the Steelbook will arrive damaged.
I will ship all Steelbooks, wrapped in bubble wrap and in a cardboard box, to prevent any shipping damage.
As you can see, shipping cost from Canada to the US is not cheap and it works out to about three times the USPS rates.
Unlike the USPS, Canada Post is not subsidized by the Canadian Government.
Payment would be by PayPal.
The people on my list, would recipricate by helping me out with F.Y.E. and other US exclusive Steelbooks, with the same cost courtesy.
I have three more spots open on my list and preference will be given to people who post on Scott's Steelbook thread.
Mods can send me a PM if they are interested or have any questions.
I welcome all comments.
PayPal fees will be added to the order total.
People on my "A" list will be exempt from the additional fees.

youre a good man for doing this howwon
btw, i dont believe usps is subsidized by the government here. its run by the government, but its self-sustained. i could be wrong though.

Could be a lot of work. I couldn't believe the amount of steelbooks that FS had in store when I dropped by yesterday. Battlestar Galatica, Bee Movie, and the latest Bourne flick was the ones that I saw, and that was only in the top 20 section.

PM your Future Shop Steelbook want list to me and I'll see what I can do for you. One of my contacts in the West Coast had an 300 for $35.00-$45.00 + shipping but that was a few months ago.
Cheers
