Has anyone received their order from Quake1028?

About two weeks ago he had this big sale with $5, $10, and $15 DVd's. I paid on the 15th and there's been no contact or DVD's since then. I emailed him twice and they were ignored. I see that he's still posting here, so he's not away from the computer.

Sent emails to everyone. Sorry for the lack of communication.

Good luck, he never replied to my emails during the sale either (despite saying that he replied "to everyone"). Not that I bought anything, the $170 in titles he priced and listed for sale that I ageed to buy were suddenly 'not for sale'.

I was originally frustrated with that, but I'm glad I'm not caught up in it now. I'd suggest filing a claim with PayPal for an item not received, they'll get you your money back.

I suggest you stay out of yet another thread that has nothing to do with you. Thanks!

BTW, in no way would Paypal give you a refund on a 10 day delay. Media mail takes far longer than that. Please get your facts straight.

The last thread in which I agreed to buy the titles you listed for sale at the prices you listed had nothing to do with me? What about the other buyers you ignored?

BTW, PayPal refunds the entire amount to the buyer if you can't provide proof of delivery. Even if you shipped it and the buyer told you they have the DVDs, that means nothing to PayPal. Without a tracking number you lose. Every time.

I have my facts straight, you obviously don't know how PayPal works.

They aren't going to do anything within 10 days. Now please stop stalking me. Thanks.

Both of you please check your emails. I originally replied to the paypal emails on some of them, so maybe that's why it didn't work. I sent both of you e-mails through your profile.

Get over it. I emailed him about DVDs, too. He didn't respond. I'm not freaking out. Nor should I be.

He was done selling. End of story.

The implication that you would encourage spurious or downright fraudulent chargebacks on PayPal and your ZERO feedback on this forum should be enough to discourage anyone here from selling to you in the future, regardless of how much of their collection is for sale and even if the rest of your screed somehow hadn't made them wary already.

That's what i'm saying. Give it a rest, already.

For the record, I also emailed him. He responded, comfirming the DVDs I inquired about and the price. Shortly after I found his email in my spam folder and sent my reply, he stated in his thread that he had the amount of $$$ desired and stopped the sale. End of story.

Should I follow him around bitching that he didn't honor his email?

Are five DVDs really going to make that much of a difference in my life that i'm going to pester a fellow member of this community who only started selling his collection in the first place because of a family emergency?

If you answered "yes" to either of those, I think you need to re-examine your priorities..

Thanks guys.

Rogue, for the record, I was waiting to sell you those DVD's. I just assumed since you didn't email back that you weren't interested any longer for whatever reason. My fault for not clearing that up at the time.
