...and yes, I know this has been covered before, but after six searches I decided to be redundant.

My wife and I have a collection of roughly 2,000 films and I am going all zen in life and just want to sell the whole package, and she has agreed. What is the best way to try to sell a collection of this sort? I would say, for those who know their DVDtalk shit, that my collection would be in the same vein as gutwrencher's (lots of horror, exploitation, and Fulchi...minus the nunny stuff).

I'm not looking to piecemeal it out, but perhaps there is some odd forum for future video shop owners or something?

list all of them and put them in the trade forum....name a price and see what takes

I think you might have to split up the set.

Put the normal dvds piecemeal..

the good stuff (OOPs, Criterions, etc) put in packages.

You could probably sell it as 1 big package on eBay. But if you split it up you'll get much more for it.

I would definitely ebay all the good stuff. Sell the catalog stuff here or at some Used DVD store. Even if it takes you a little longer you will make much more of your money back if you split and sell.
