Indeed. I think that we can conclude that whenever CH has some kind of special offer($8.88 for 8/8, buy 2 Blu-rays, get 1 free, free shipping, etc) going, they disable the memberschoice50 code. I don't think that we will ever be able to stack it again.

Perhaps that is why they gave out a code for free shipping this week rather than make it automatic.

Made an order with a bunch of cheap catalog titles. Several were priced $5.97 before the discount. I've passed on them for $5-7 before, but picking them up for less than $3 each works for me.

While I've noticed it before, there's some random stuff available on the CH site. I threw a 3 piece travel set into my cart ($5.99). It discounted it by 50% as well. That will be my first non-media purchase I've made from them. We'll see if it's worth 3 bucks.

I don't think it stacks, I was playing with it yesterday and put two regular DVDs in my cart, but they both just came up as 50% off.
