McDonald's vouchers/coupons from CH (free food)
I just thought I'd post this up since I got these with my last 2 orders from Columbia House dvd club.
I don't know how long they've been sending them, but with the last account I opened (this week), and my first order from that account (2 shipments), I have received the coupons. I usually don't even look at those ads, I just pitch 'em in the trash.
They are included in the little packet of advertisements and such that come in the boxes with your dvds. The one box actually had two of them inside.
It is a folded paper coupon that is actually 2 coupons. Half of it is for a FREE Chicken Biscuit for breakfast, and the other half is for a FREE Chicken Sandwich for lunch or dinner.
Here is the disclaimer on the back of the coupons...
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Valid at participating McDonald's restaurants. Participation based on independant operator decision. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discount or combo meal. Cash value 1/20 of 1 cent. Limit one free item per coupon per person per visit. Coupon void if transferred, copied or duplicated in any way or transmitted via electronic media. Valid when product served. May not be valid on custom orders. 2008McDonald's. Expires 6/30/08.
I just thought this can be a nice little bonus on top of getting our dvds for great prices from CH.

You should be able to get better feedback there. There is also FAQ info in the first post of that thread.

I also forgot to mention... in that packet of advertisments/coupons that came with my CH dvds, there was another intersting ad.
I was an enrollment ad/card for the Disney Movie Club

^It's not really direct competition so why not? Disney won't let anyone else carry their titles so they can keep prices inflated for their own club. I believe the *best* average you can get there is ~$9.50/each. CH gets a small fee for including the form in the packet.

just checked mine. almost forgot before throwing them out. I've got in 6 boxes of dvd's lately, mostly preorders from the b1g4. each envelope had 2 coupons for free chicken sandwiches. Not bad. I'm allergic to chicken but my wife will eat them. I've got a few more boxes coming, so I might get some more. I wonder if I threw some away.

Not trying to be mean, but after you started writing about how excited you were to get all those coupons... then you said you were allergic to chicken... I almost fell out of my chair laughing

On another note, I got one of those ads/fliers in my snail-mail box to day. They come all the times ya know, it has several pages and is always falling apart and what not. There were MORE McDonald's coupons. This time they are BOGOfree. 6 different items like a Big Mac, breakfast McMuffin, ect...
I may use a couple of these coupons, but gee wiz, one can only stand so much McDonald's. Even if I did use all or most of the coupons, I wouldn't want to eat there again for MONTHS

Last time I ate fast food was a long time ago, fall of 93 I think. I got so sick off a 1/4 lb w/cheese, combined with the fact I knew it was bad for me, I just never eat anywhere like that anymore.
But I got these today too, so I'll leave 'em out at work for anyone who snags them.

Yes, true, first I typed 03 by accident (hence the edit) and realized after it's been a hella long time! I've been good I guess.
I think the fastest food I get is pizza or subs at a local place, nothing with a drive-thru. The only drive thru's I use are ATMs and very occasional coffee stops.
I probably already threw some of these away as I never look at any of the junk mail in the box, I just chuck it after I fish out my receipt. No great loss though
