I read in the TALK forum that Amazon had limited copies and some orders were being delayed. Has anyone ordered their Blade Runner briefcase (or any version) from Columbia House and received a shipping email? I logged into my account and my order is still listed as pre-order.

same here. still pre-order. i wonder if I should try to get it somewhere else.

I went to Best Buy and picked one up last night. My order status changed from pre-order to pending. I did send them an email trying to cancel, but my guess by the time the get around to reading it, it may already ship. Which I guess I can just write return to sender and get it right back to them.

I've tried via phone and email to cancel my briefcase order. The phone person said she would put the request in and the email response said the order was canceled. Its still showing on the website though. I may call again or send another email.

Seems like CH is especially slow during the holidays. I ordered Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on the 4th and it finally shipped on Monday. I preordered a lot of the 12/18 titles too (Simpsons, Stardust, Braveheart, Hatchet, Halloween) and none of them have shipped yet as well.

My online CSR told me that I had outstanding charges, but I don't. I'm getting pretty miffed about this, I'm going to have to call them today.

Received an email that my briefcase shipped 12/19/07 from CH.com.

ive had trouble for awhile, email every few days, is there a number to talk to someone?

Received this email today:
"Unfortunately, the following titles you ordered are temporarily out of stock. A new supply is expected shortly, and your order will be shipped as soon as we receive stock - but not later than 01/18/2008."

Product page still says: "Usually ships the next business day." for the 5-disc SD briefcase...

ordered the suitcase with funcash, but told it was out of stock even though it's still listed on the site.... do they limit the number available for funcash purchases? if so, they're holding $20 of my funcash indefinitely until they cancel the order (after the funcash expires on 12/31, prolly)... I guess I'll call them to see if they have one to send me.

What's the latest on this? Has anyone heard anything since what NoirFan posted? I just ordered it tonight with the free shipping code to fulfill an account. I'm really hoping I didn't drag my feet too long and miss out on this set.

I ordered mine using Funcash the exact day it was released (before dawn), using Expedited shipping. Got it fine a week later.

I ordered mine on November 30 and haven't heard a peep.I don't know what the *$@# is going on.BR is my all time fave movie and not having that 5 disc UE sitting on my shelf sucks.

I canceled my order, since it was cheaper at B & N.

Anyone get theirs? I hope they arn't waiting on a shipment of returned units to come in.

I finally canceled mine and ordered from Amazon, who shipped it the next day.

I was thinking of ordering the 2 disc "Final Cut" edition of Blade Runner from CH. Is CH delaying shipment on that one as well, or have any members received this version in a timely fashion?

I'm thinking about also canceling and fulfilling this account with the current buy one get one code
opinions?
