I used 802265 - b1g1 + 50% off all DVDs a few days ago and got Disturbia (bluray), Fracture for free, and got Saved! for 3.98 to get free shipping. Over the weekend Disturbia disappeared from the order. So now they are sending me both Saved! and Fracture for 4.22. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Many times..."Disturbia" will reappear and you'll be charged correctly for the rest of the order.

Disturbia may not appear, as it is now OOP... due to Dreamworks going exclusive to HD-DVD

Yeah the order went to complete and still no Disturbia. So I ordered it again this time with the b1g1 free shipping. I got Disturbia and 1408 2 disc. Of course Disturbia disappeared again and now 1408 is just showing up as free. I have been get columbia house for a year and nothing like this has ever happened. I will wait a few days then I might just buy it on hd-dvd. If it all works out, I will have got three disc for 4.22. Fracture, Saved!!, and 1408.

like jon8282 said it's likely because it's OOP. i remember when CH carried the third man criterion but everyone knew they were OOP so people would order that along with their "free" selection and they'd end up getting their "free" selection without having to buy one at regular price.

I missed the part where you said this was Blu-Ray. What others said about this being discontinued and only being charged for the other items is correct from my experience. Nice find!

disturbia has dropped off the order, it is now listing only deathproof on the order, and it is still listed as free, however it has not been shipped and is still in pending status...

I gave this a shot as well. It looks like the order has duped. My original order still shows Disturbia and 1408, but a second pending order just shows 1408 for free. Being a columbia house n00b, is this normal?

I got a letter today that says Disturbia bluray is no longer available, but the rest of my order was processed. I got my first order yesterday. My second order was for 1408 collector's edition.

if that is the Sleepy Hollow Blu Ray title I actually got that from ch just a couple of days ago so it is still available to order ... so you can take that one off ;)

Not same category at all. "Disturbia" was never made. Those titles are just out of print. CH may continue listing/selling them until they run out.

Be careful what you encourage people to do.

disturbia was absolutely made and is OOP, i've seen it myself. and this entire discussion has been based on the fact that the Disturbia Blu-Ray title was OOP but still listed.

I did this two times - once to get Hearts & Minds Criterion for $2.xx, and a second time to get The Red Shoes Criterion for $2.xx, so thanks for pointing out the code guys.

Also, just for the record, yes Disturbia did indeed totally disappear from both orders giving me the $2.xx price for both.

I hope this isn't a YMMV. Would hate to have to pay 29.99 for a Blu-Ray disc of a movie I don't want for a player I don't have.

i received a letter in the mail today from CH saying that they could not send me disturbia (BR) because they no longer carried the title. so i guess that pretty much makes it official.

I can't help but laugh at just how CH continues to totally confuse me. If they know that they don't have it, and can't get it, and are sending letters out stating as such, then why don't the morons take that title off of their site to keep people from ordering it?

The same thing goes for the Viva Pedro set. It's been months and months, it's an obvious price mistake, but they wont take the time to correct it.

I just don't get CH at all, but as long as it benefits all of us, that's fine by me. :lol:

Can anyone else confirm this works with Dreamgirls Blu-Ray as well?

By the way, my order the other day for Disturbia and The Ruling Class worked out fine. Disturbia dropped and I was charged $1.99. Pretty damn good for a Criterion.

Ok, I had to give this a shot....Just ordered Disturbia with Death Proof for free. We'll see how it goes.

Disturbia Blu-ray dropped off and I'm getting Serenity CE (free) for 1.99 (shipping). Dreamgirls Blu-Ray dropped off, but they ARE shipping Sleepy Hollow Blu-Ray along with my Knocked Up CE (free) and 300 SE (free).
