I think it's a steal, even with the shipping. If you factor your fulfillments using this code you can come out to $4.78 per dvd (10) and 1 boxset for $20.79.
Math:

$19.95 & 1 Free = $24.93
Enrollments = $12.89
Total=$68.77 - $20.97(boxset) = $47.80/10 = $4.78each + tax if applicable :)

I bit on it and got The Departed Two-Disc as the free title. I haven't decided what to get for the $19.95 titles yet. Maybe Babel and something else.

Is the single disc The Departed not working because it is the current Director's Selection? Maybe you need to add it that way. I've already declined it, so I can't check.

The Departed 2-disc + Casino Royale = did that really work? I thought you couldn't get a pre-order as a free selection?

It worked for me. The Departed is no longer a preorder, plus CH will sometimes allow a preorder that is about to street to count as the freebie. Sometimes you have to add them to your cart in a specific way to get it to work.

The pre-order is Casino Royale. The Departed was released yesterday and thus available as a FREE selection.

I got the "Bogie & Bacall Signature Collection" (on sale for $23.97) with "The Departed" SE free. I got hit with almost $9 shipping - lessening the deal quite a bit. But, it still came down to about $33 overall. Not bad considering the haul.

So maybe this won't be my most financially successful CH membership, but what the hey.

i used it to fulfill one of my acct. i only needed to use it once though. i think i did pretty good on this one 6 dvds for 0.49, 7th at 9.99 with two to buy, got pedro box set for $20.97 ande then used b1g1 code. id say i did well on this acct

How about fulfilling one account using two B1G1F orders. Then close that account and open a new one. You can hang on to the second account and wait for a B1G1F plus free shipping offer; although there are no guarantees that such an offer will happen, it does seem likely eventually.

Anyone else encountering the same error message? It says "your order will be processed correctly", so should I place the order anyway? I don't really understand these repeated error messages.

Just got my first TV on DVD account opened up and just in time. Since I only had to buy 2 within a 12 month period I used the code from my regular account and did 2 seperate orders.

Order 1:

Pedro Aldomovar Collection -$28.96
Babel - $1.99

Total = $30.95

Order 2:

The Fifth Element 2D SE - $24.94
Barnyard - $1.99

Total = $26.93

I ordered 'House' S1 and 'CSI: Miami' S1 as enrollments for $9.99

So for a grand total of $67.87 I managed to open and close an account.

If you take into account that the Pedro Aldomovar set is at best $80 in store or at Amazon and that the 3 movies would run $20 each. Add to that the 2 box sets retail at $90 combined easily.

Basically what could easily cost $230-$250 in store, I managed to pick up for a fraction for which I am very happy about.

Tried the order anyway. Recieved a order confirmation email last night, but today the order doesen't show up on their website. I don't understand how some members can use this code but not others. I am a "senior member", so why am I not eligible?

804427 has also been extended to the 17th.

It is not unusual for an order to take several days to show up on the website. I wouldn't give up on it just yet. These codes should be able to be used by anyone.
