Codes don't last forever. It is possible that some of them are being pulled. There are dozens and dozens of good 7:2 codes available.

There are at least five codes that should still work on the phone besides EBP. You could try 98W, 59H, 75X, 75Y, 76C on the phone: 888-242-3837. In addition to these, any good 7:2 code received in a mail-in offer should work fine on the phone. [Be aware that you have to call the phone enrollment line, the regular CSRs stopped being able to use good codes several years ago — they just have the very poor standard deal. While that could change, I've heard no reports that it has.]

Usually when an online code no longer works it just gives an error message. It is a bit unusual to get a letter saying the code is invalid.

Yeah I've only had one account and the only other account I've been successfull in opening is by phone. Online accounts have not been able to pass through for me, I get no email replys or anything.

I reported that LMT appeared dead on 7/30/07 . Got the letter with a crappy alternate offer. The fun part is that the code appears to work when you use it on the sign up site. It's only a couple of weeks later you discover the truth.

If anyone needs a 7+2 code, I just got one in the mail: AE0, requires PSN.

I've been trying the AE0 code and every other 7+2 code I can find. All of them are accepted but they come up as 6+3? and other crap offers. I've cleared cookies but still no luck. Anyone know of a working 7+2 code?

I can't really help you, that just sounds like a cookie issue. Mostly, I'm just posting because I'm surprised to see someone else from Blue Springs on here. I always figured I was the only one.

You were right about the cookies. I thought I had gotten them all. Nice to hear from a neighbor:)

Hey what's guy
ok so I was checking some DVD to start a new application, I go to the main page where you put your special codes, I input C98, thinking is 7:2 code. When the page load it say:
Buy 8 for .49, buy one $9.95 and 2 at regular price in 2 years
SO IS A 9:2!!!!! -eek- well i'm pretty shocked I've never heard of one like that. Just wanted to let you guys know.
P.S.: I'm pretty sure is C98, but I put it so carelesslly that it could be wrong I'm going to try to enroll wit that code, and see what happens

Warning about code C98
Ok, you have to pay shipping and processing for code C98, which brings the lowest posible average for each dvd to $5.74 (Tax + Shipping included, Buying to last 2 DVDs with a BOGO + Free Shipping). With the 7:2 code your lowest posible avg. per DVD is 5.03 (Same term for the last 2 DVDs as the other one)

dadaluholla 12-19-07 10:51 AM

yes, I got the same thing with C98! Wow, Cutegirl, that is a heck of a code. I will have to try it out.

so many codes cancelled for online use... I was foiled in my attempts to use these codes (which are now cancelled):

98W, 59H, 38Y, IKJ, 1LM

Just today I finally came to find 75X to be sucessful and stopped checking other codes.

smashthesymbols 12-19-07 07:30 PM

I don't think C98 is going to be good for much. I didn't do every possible combination, but I don't see anyway the math is going to make that a better code than our usual 7:2 codes.

Also, I just used 98W to enroll by phone and the operator asked me if I would like to use a credit card. It seemed to me she was giving me the bill me option. Is that normal on the phone? Before they always just asked me for my credit card number.

dadaluholla 12-21-07 12:59 PM

Signed up online for a 7:2 account using QJ4 on December 19th. Accepted today! I totally wasn't expecting it. Christmas miracle perhaps.

Are you sure that was the code? For me it's coming up as a 6:3 ([email protected] + 1@$14.95 - filfill w/3)!?!

EDIT: Just tried about a dozen recently reported working and older 7:2 codes and ALL are coming up as 6:3! I cleared cookies (after each attempt) with the same results and used a different computer that has NEVER been to CH before, again with nothing but 6:3 as a result. So... could be a temporary thing or ALL codes are being expired!! I'll try later today and see...

UPDATE on the EDIT: Looks like it might be a Firefox issue. I just tried with IE (yuck!) and codes are working... Hmmm... conspiracy thoughts run through my head... :)

UPDATE on the UPDATE on the EDIT: (whew! :) ) OK... codes are now working with Firefox. A website update issue? Time of day? Just one of those CH things? Oh well... it works and that's what counts, eh? :)

I got mail from CH today and 7:2 enrolment code b/c i closed one of my accounts.
It is 76W.

thejester 12-24-07 10:16 PM

If someone want to try these, here are some 6-for-1 codes (plus S&H). No other purchase (aside from 1) is required.

41G, 41H, CE0, CE1, CE2, DDV, DGN

Enroll with 4 free selections, purchase 1 for $19.95+ (use b1g1 w/Free S&H for max value) and get 1 more for free. S&H charges ($2.99 each) apply to the initial 4 and last 1, so this won't be as good of a value as 7CY from a few years ago.

The averages I calculate are from $4.99 (7 ttl w/b1g1 & free S&H on purchase 1) to $5.82 (6 ttl w/free S&H on purchase 1). Worst being $6.32 for 6 and paying normal S&H charges on purchase 1.

Also, any taxes add to these averages.

The ones I tried ask for a Preferred Status Number from your mailing.

If you don't have a #, maybe a phone attempt would be better? At least there you can say "you don't have one in front of you".

I found over 2500+ 6:3/7:2 codes also. A vast majority (99%) have $9.95 for 7th title. No telling which ones are "active" in CHs' eyes tho'.

None of what I found "caught my eye" for being a great deal. In addition to the "6-for-1" no commit, I found 5-for-1s and 4-for-1s. I also found a buy 9 for $9.99 each - with no further commit.

There were also a "ton" (20K+) of "must buy (4-5) over xx year(s)". Even a few more that 5 (6-8). Not good deals at all.

CmC918 12-25-07 09:05 PM

True that! I just have never gotten around to calling. Have not really tried a new account in a while either so no real lose.

jmu878 12-27-07 11:23 AM

76W works...finally got one approved!!

What $25 gift card are you referring to?

Cutegirll025 12-28-07 09:13 PM

When I finished my order the lady offered me a membership to Critics Choice and with that you get $25 gift card to olive garden. I've done membership like that before. You get a 30 free-trial after that you can cancel and keep that gift card. Used code 75x but most likely they offer that with every membership. I placed another application (that just got accepted) and I got the gift card this time, I'll cancel the Critics choice membership as soon as I get the gift card (she said 2 weeks)
