Used the same code and I have no accounts open.

I e-mailed them and they said their "technicians are working to correct the problem. There is no estimate of when the problem will be corrected"

That's their way of saying "no". You will get no further than that. No one will be processing and verifying your request. No enrollment package will be sent. Customer Service will not help you.

Check to make sure you don't have two accounts currently open at that address. If you do, the system will automatically generate that message. If you don't, clear your cookies and try again.

If you still have no luck, you can try a trick that's worked for me: add an "A" or a "-A" after the number in your street address. I know the master CH questions thread cautions against this sort of shenanigans, and it may get you blackballed for the rest of your natural life, but as I said, it's worked for me.

Tread lightly young grasshopper, and if you do get blackballed, may God have mercy on your soul.

So,for example.. 601A,or 601-A with no space between the number and the A?

I just tried it 4 different times and it still gives me the same old bullshit message.
I am wondering if they are now allowing only 1 account per person.

I believe if you call, the best they will give you is 3 for $1 each. The 6 for .49 deal is clandestine, and not accessible by the CSRs.

I received a 5 for $5 offer email today. They apparently have a new gimmick. They WANT me to close my current account and open a new one. It says right in the email:

I just used the link provided by Sheky(6+1 for 49 cents and buy 2 free shipping)to create my 2nd account.I paid by Visa and got instant approval.
I than went to enroll for 2nd CHTV account,and got to the step where it asks for credit card info.
So whatever problem it was that was keeping some of us from creating an account,seems to be fixed now.

It's one of those accounts where I never have to respond to a director's selection. So it certainly would not benefit me to cancel and rejoin... I have this account only for the occassional super bargains...

Tried with my parents address, still won't work. Don't know what the issue is.
