Clerks 2 Gone?
I had pre-ordered this during the B1G1 free sale a couple weeks ago with free shipping and it recently vanished from my order history and from CH's web page.
Funny thing is, they sent me the free DVD I got for pre-ordering this.
This happen to anyone else?

Same thing happened to me. I sent them an e mail regarding the dissapearance before I knew they were going to give me a movie for free, and they said it would be available to order for shipping on october 31st because that is the new studio release date but I haven't heard that from anywhere elso so I don't know what is actually going on.

As mentioned in this thread, the release of Clerks 2 has been rescheduled or canceled. Columbia House had to pull the listing; how they will deal with the wreckage of pre-orders already placed remains to be seen.

View Askew's site still lists it as a November 28th release. Perhaps this has to do with Fox taking over MGM home distribution? I know the Weinsteins were distributing via theaters with MGM, and home video with Genius Products...

Just got a letter in the mail today. Here's what it says:
"Unfortunately, stock of any item noted below has been exhausted. In the event prepayment was subimtted, you will receive a refund of any momey due you. If additional selections were requested, they will be shipped and should reach you soon."
It's a standard scripted response, but I am curious to know how the distribution issues will pan out.
