How many of the same title can one get from CH?
Are there any specific guidelines posted by CH about the number of DVDs of the same title one can order from them without getting blacklisted? Has it gone up to 5 from 2?
Also:
a) Is there a time dimension to the restrictions -- e.g., no more than 2 of the same title over the last 12 months?
b) Is the restriction per account or across all accounts currently open or ever opened?
c) Is the restriction on the number ordered in the enrollment package or across all orders (commitment fulfillment orders/post commitment fulfillment orders as well)?
Thanks in advance!

Don't know for certain, but I think it's 2 titles per address - with some exceptions/leniency towards Christmas time. CH doesn't want to become a "supplier" for re-sale - contracts & all.

Last I checked, it was two per enrollment package and five in a single fulfillment order.
We generally recommend buying no more than two of a particular title over all accounts. The reason for this is to keep Columbia House from thinking that one is selling DVDs, a violation of their policy that can, and has, led to the blacklist (CH makes a "business decision" to close one's open accounts and refuse to open new ones).
The exception is when buying DVDs in December, because CH knows that many people buy multiple copies of DVDs as gifts.
