$5 off first time web order gone?

Just got a new account opened. When I was trying to log in thru that webdvd link I found it doesn't work anymore. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Try logging in at columbiahouse.com/webtv instead.

This still doesn't work. If you use webtv or webdvd, it just asks you to keep logging in or go to the home page. Is there a correct url that does work?

McButton, BrentLumkin's link works. If you still can't get it to work try this: log-in to your account the usual way (columbiahouse.com). Then "sign off" to log-out. Then go to the link above and log-in. This should get you the web discount.

Did you actually get the discount after placing the order. My order confirmation shows the discount but my order in the order history is missing the discount. I have a feeling this discount is supposed to be discontinued. I think I'll forward my order confirmation to [email protected] and see if they adjust my order.

I think this may be another BMG implemented change.

Are you aware that the discount doesn't appear on the order but, rather, is subtracted from one of the titles in your order? You should see that one of your DVDs is $5 less than you thought it was going to cost. (I assume that you are aware that there is a $30 minimum order size for the discount to work.)

Yes, I'm aware of how the $5 discount works. The order total was ~ $37 before the discount but the order didn't have an order number for two days in the order history, it said "To be assigned" and had *** for all of the prices. When an order showed up with an order number, the $5 web discount was gone. The discount was shown on the order confirmation page and in the email confirmation, both of which I saved. The full price selection shows $19.95 in my order history instead of the usual $14.95.

I sent an email about the missing $5 discount from my order and they credited me the $5 with no problem.

Do you recall how you signed up, and which code you used?

Anyone else getting this? My new membership doesn't show anything like it...

I got the membership approved today and when I logged on they had Buy 1 Get 1 50% and 40% off TV Season 1 and $5 of $30. I did not use any codes.

I didn't buy anything when I was logged on and now when I go back to the site it is no longer listed. Maybe it only works on the first time you log on.

Actulally now that it's been mentioned I remember last time I placed some orders on two new accounts that I also got the $5 automatically taken off. And this was a while ago, during the last buy 3 get 3 free where it crossed over with the buy 4 get 1 free allowing us to buy 3 dvds and get 4 free, probably a month or two ago. Thought it was weird at the time buy quickly forgot about it happening while I waited for my preorders to ship.
