It seems all b1g1f codes have expired as of this morning. Hope I'm wrong...

The recent B1G1F codes were supposed to be limited to 48 hours. New ones may appear in a few days. Or you could try code trawling and see if you can find new ones more quickly.

I've ran into some problems with my order. I placed it on 7/20, but as of yesterday it was still pending. I emailed to see if there were any updates, and they replied saying they had no record of it being shipped, but put in the order again. Unfortunately, they gave me adjusted prices which came to a total of about $60. Today, I responded by sending them a copy of my confirmation email, which shows a total of $27.92. I just checked the website, and there is no history of any orders, the last one being my enrollment. Anyone have any idea what's going on over there? Will they honor my original order, since I sent them the confirmation?

^It takes time for the website to show orders and updates. Trying to fix things before giving them time to sort out often just makes things worse, as may be the case for you.

Orders can be pending for quite some time if a title is out of stock. And many of us have the experience of receiving DVDs on orders that are still listed as "pending" in our accounts. (It is also routine to get "shipped" e-mails after receiving the DVDs.)

In short, don't pay too much attention to the website and don't try to fix what isn't broken. The gears of Columbia House grind slowly.

Yeah, I have had a few orders be stuck on outstanding like it was not shipped but I received them. I have also gotten emails from CH saying my dvd's have shipped and the same day get the dvd's in the mail.

I'm trying to fulfill my account and used a B1G1 code. Can I do this twice i.e. do two separate B1G1 orders (using either two different codes or the same one twice) to effectively get B2G2?
Also, I'm having one heck of a time putting $19.95 titles into my cart so I can fulfill - they're all 'on sale' at less that that price. How are you supposed to fulfill these days?

I currently have the Spike Lee Joint Collection ($20.21) and V for Vendetta (free) in my cart. I'm almost thinking of passing on the $5 webdvd discount ($30 minimum) in favor of 2 rounds of B1G1 if that's possible.

Yeah, you can do two separate orders if you want. Keep in mind that there is a free shipping code too (on 4, check email), and you might be able to get a b2g2 all on one order. Also, you'll probably get charged shipping on the spike lee collection, ch has not allowed free shipping on special priced items lately. More info can be found in the "A list of offer codes" thread (stickied).
To change sale titles to $19.95 regular price, in the cart there is a box that says something like "choose how many". Use that section to do that.
Good luck "neighbor"!

^^It might be to your advantage to combine the b1g1 with the b4g1 offers. This way it ends up being buy 3 get 2 free. You can also use the webdvd discount if you do it this way.

How long before you order your enrollment titles before you can fulfill your account? Do they have to ship first?

Is it faster if you enroll over the phone? Can you fulfill right away if you do?

How long before you order your enrollment titles before you can fulfill your account?

You need to be approved and get your account number before you can oder any fulfillment titles.

Do they have to ship first?

It depends. Sometimes you get a "welcome" e-mail with your account info, and you can fulfill before you receive your enrollments. Other times, you may not get the e-mail, in which case you get your account info with your enrollment package.

Is it faster if you enroll over the phone?

Not necessarily faster, but usually more reliable.

Can you fulfill right away if you do?

No. You still need to wait to be approved, and get your account number.

So how come you didn't do the $5 webdvd thing and get your average even lower?

And as punishment for your $3.89/dvd bragging rights, you will actually have to watch that Agent Cody Banks dvd you paid for...

Wasn't trying to brag about my average, but just wanted to show people on the board here that have been negative to the BMG takeover (me too partially) that CH still makes for a hell of a deal.
Apart from Cody Banks most of the DVDs I got were quite a bit above average in quality (several inside IMDB's top 250) and I can always give Agent Cody Banks 2 away as a gift to someone or trade in for $3. So, no great big loss either way.

I believe he used 808966 (bogof and free shipping on 3 or more) and most, if not all, accounts also automatically until August 10th have an offer of b4gof.

Edit: Just got off the nightshift and misread his post. He only used 808966. Maybe he couldn't find any other $3.98 movie he wanted. It would've been free assuming he had the b4gof deal on his account, but it was difficult finding many good movies in the $3.98 selection.

Question: Should I go with?

Choice
A. (this account is already fulfilled)
Juice - $4.98
Wings of Desire Special Edition - $3.98
Saved! - $3.98
The Last Waltz Special Edition - $3.98
Weekend At Bernie's - Free
Shipping & Processing - Free
Tax - Free

Total - $16.92

Average DVD Price
for this order, excluding sets:
$3.38

OR

Choice
B. (2 left to fulfill on this account, but would wait and get second later)

Wings of Desire Special Edition - Free
Saved! - 3.98
The Last Waltz Special Edition - 3.98
Inside Man - 17.95
Shipping & Processing - Free
Tax - Free
Total - $25.91

Average Price per DVD - $6.48

The only difference is that choice A. is on a closed account and it just seems like a great deal. Choice B. gets me a couple extra and helps toward fulfillment. Should I go with A., close out the account, and wait to fulfill B. when we get another B2G2, or go with B. and fulfill the rest of it later?

Haha, yea I figured it's a lot better, but what I'm really trying to decide is whether or not its advantageous for me to spend the extra on a fulfillment or just wait until there's a B2G2 plus free shipping to fulfill this account and go with the good deal on the one that's already closed.

I did use 808966, but only for the free shipping since BOGOF only works on 19.95+ titles The free one I got was from the B4GOF promotion.
