Application-Selections Not Available
I have been trying to join Columbia House since 3/31. I've received the email thanking for my application but have never heard anything further from them. I emailed them & they have no record of my application. Tried again & still nothing. Emailed them again & no record of that application either. And still I keep trying. Yet this week I received 2 letters from them thanking me for my application but they are unable to process it because one or more of my selections isn't available. How am I going to get a membership through if unknown selections aren't available even though they show as available on the website? My sister has also been trying to join but has never heard anything from them either. They must be losing lots of money as most people fill out an application & when they never hear back from them they give up on it.

You might try appying over the phone, then they can tell you right away if a selection is available or not, but my application to the regular DVD club took about 3 weeks to be processed and they told me the same thing when I called about it, that they don't have a record of it and to wait at least 4 weeks before calling. My application to the DVD TV club went through a lot quicker.

I know this is way late, but did you use a code that doesn't ask for billing info?
I recently applied and was sent my intro package with only six titles and the seventh out of stock. So I can definitely say they do send your package if some titles are out of stock - so that shouldn't be the main problem.
Like the other poster said, try calling them and placing an order so you can definitely give your billing info (if you already haven't).
