Application Rejected?

Application Rejected?
I followed up with Columbia House a bit more than a week after applying and hearing nothing. At the time I applied I had one open account and had just closed (had already received notice of it from customer service) another account. This is the reply I received:
Additional information is being sent via US mail
concerning your recent membership order. Please
allow time for delivery.
Sounds like I'm possibly getting one of the "Why are you applying for a third account?" letters, but unless their records weren't up-to-date I don't know why. Anyone else received a response like this before?
