Isn't it too bad that they aren't 19.95?

Why the interest in sub-$19.95 sets? It is hard to make a case for them where you can get a good deal. Some of the low ones work out OK with FunCash if they only have 2 discs, but otherwise they don't work out as freebies, don't count as fulfillments, and aren't part of the 50/60% off deals.

You are right about everything.

The reason why is because you get a free dvd with each purchase with one of the sets above.

The code that offers you 3 free dvd's plus free S/H ( It's basically B1G1)

My Intro selections are: (Using HDL cost me $10)

The Outer Limits Season 2
CSI: Season 2

This is my previous order:
(only had to fullfill 2 commitments but I couldn't help getting Samurai Jack S2 )

Batman Animated Volume 4
Samurai Jack S1
Samurai Jack S2
Lord Of War (2 disc version) (free)
Doom (free)
Saw II (free)

The Batman S1
Teen Titans S1
Twilight Zone S1
Monster's Ball (free)
Ultimate Avengers (free)
After The Sunset (free)

Collected 20 Fun Cash (I got the dvd's below for my daughter and me )

Scooby Doo Witch Ghost
Scooby Doo Alien Invaders

Added $5 Off First Web Order

Total: $125.92

OR

$135.92 Including my intro selections for 16 DVD's/Box Sets in total.

Thanks for being so diplomatic. Obviously I wasn't right about everything. I didn't realize those sub-$19.95 sets will get you a free DVD.

Another low priced set:

Stripes, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day Box Set - $18.71

Get that set with a free DVD and you can get 4 DVDs for an average of $4.68. Not bad.

Thanks for the tip and clarification. I may make another order.

The Bad News Bears Triple Play Collection - $17.21
Class/Youngblood 2-Pack - $14.96
The Naked Gun DVD Gift Set - $17.21
Airport Terminal Pack - $14.96
Football Collection - $18.71

With a free DVD during B1G1, these will all average out to less than $5 per movie.

Thanks to kar10 for starting this thread. On a fulfilled account I just ordered:
Stripes, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day Box Set - $18.71
Good Night, Good Luck - Free

Plus it gave me just enough FunCash to get another one I wanted for free + $2.99 shipping. So I basically got 5 DVDs, including a brand new release, for $21.70 or an average of $4.34.

I don't remember the exact price but I think CH has a Woody Allen set of 4 movies/4 discs for less than $22.I don't think anyone has mentioned the Back To The Future set?

Back to the Future is over $19.95 and can count as a fulfillment. So you would want to use it for that.

The B1G1F code still works as of this morning (3/25). These cheap box sets are great. I got 2 good new releases and 7 good older movies for under $30.

A History of Violence - Free

Airport Terminal Pack (AIRPORT, AIRPORT 1975, AIRPORT '77, and THE CONCORDE: AIRPORT '79) - (love those old disaster flicks) - $14.96

Stripes, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day Box Set - $18.71 - $5 web=$13.71

Crash Free

Total $28.67

Buyer beware, the get shorty/be cool 2 pack contains the 1997 get shorty (not the newer SE).
