The Twilight Zone - The Definitive Edition Could Be Available at CH?

I been hoping to see the set available at Columbia House by now.

Is there still a chance?

Where is that section to request dvd's at CH site? I can't find it!

It's really too bad, too. Though CH would charge an arm and leg for them, there would have to be a sale at some point to take advantage of them.

CH put together their own sets for TZ so the Definitive editions will probably and unfortunately never be available
CH carries the Collections, which is distributed by Image Entertainment. This is the same company that distributes the Definitive Collection.

My guess is it is cost. I know of one chain that is buying the Collections at about 70% (maybe better) off MSRP. So CH probabaly has a good deal worked out to buy this product.

Which chain is that?

Wal-Mart, at least the ones here in KY, have had the collections for between 42 and 45 bucks. The retail is $99

I think CH would charge a decent price for them like the other box sets they sell at CH.

CH sells many Box Sets that can compete with any retail store out there.

KY here I come just kiddin'

I would pay $45 for each set! Not the $90 range price everyone online is selling.

Same here. $45 is a sane price. TZ is the one show I really want to own but the prices I see are just outrageous.

So Walmart, eh? I'll have to check that out.

Be aware that there are multiple releases of the series. I know at my local Wal-Mart I've seen the Collections are sub $50. I believe they are now producing season sets as in Season 1 (The Definitive Edition) etc. Not sure what the difference is for each set. Amazon has up to Collection 5 listed

They were releasing "The Twilight Zone - Collection" in the begining but now they are coming out with the new package called "Twilight Zone (Definitive Edition): Season".

The difference of the two is that the "Definitive" has a new transfer which by the way looks better than the previous "Collection" version.

Don't hold your breath about CH getting ahold of the Definitive Editions. I wish they would so I could finish my collection but I dont see ti happening.
