Titles available on CH TV DVD Club?

I'm considering joining the CH TV Club but am wondering if it's really worth it for me because of what titles are and aren't available.

I'm not sure if what I want will ever be available through the club:
Seinfeld S7(?) (Isn't there one more season yet to come?)
Titus S3
Desperate Housewives S2 (when it's released)
Arrested Development S3 (when it's released)
Lost S1
Oliver Beene (no plans to release that I know of)

Can anybody tell me the likelihood of seeing these included in the Club?

I'd probably choose Northern Exposure as my first selections, but other than the titles listed above, I'm not sure what I'd want.

Seinfeld-even though it's a Sony title, CH has never carried any of the seasons, so that's out.
Titus-even though its an Anchor Bay title, CH doesn't have any of the seasons, so that's out.
DH-this is a Disney title and CH doesn't carry Disney titles.
AD-this is a Fox title and CH doesn't carry Fox titles.
Lost-this is a Disney title and CH doesn't carry Disney titles.
Oliver Beene-as you already stated, no release date scheduled.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

EDIT: I would highly recommend Freaks & Geeks as your second title. It's a great show.

Your fulfillment DVDs do not necessarily have to be season sets of any show. They can be regular single DVDs priced at least $19.95. Although you are correct in that the enrollment selection is quite limited and doesn't change as often as the regular DVD club.

Thanks for your reply SBJ! I suspected the titles I wanted wouldn't be available, but it's nice to know for sure.

So are Desperate Housewives and Lost available on the Disney Movie Club? I'm already a member of that, but frankly the deals just aren't that great price-wise. I haven't fulfilled my membership with them yet.

I do like Freaks & Geeks so I'll consider that one!

Xbox60, are the $19.95 titles movies or tv shows?

The $19.95 titles are for movies. Occasionally you can find a TV set on sale for around $20(Tales From the Crypt Season 1, various seasons of Coupling, etc). This is how I go about a TV membership:

1. Use the HDL code and get 2 box set enrollments for $9.95 with free shipping. You'll then have to buy 2 titles at $19.95 or higher in the next year.

2. I usually wait for a Buy 1 Get 1 Free code with free shipping on 3 or more titles. I then select 2 pre-orders for $19.95 each and take an additonal 2 movies for free(I like to take pre-orders as my fulfillment titles because they are only $19.95 as opposed to in-stock titles being $22-$23).

3. Don't forget when you fulfill to log onto your account through this address: columbiahouse.com/webdvd. This will give you $5 off of your first online order of $30 or more. CH will deduct the $5 off of one of your titles, dropping the price to $14.95. Don't worry, this will still count as 1 towards fulfillment.

Final numbers as follows:

2 enrollment sets $9.95
2 fulfillment movies $39.90
2 free movies FREE
Web Coupon $5 discount
Free shipping

Total $44.85 for 2 box sets and 4 movies
Average price per title $7.48

Thanks for the info!

I went ahead and submitted my enrollment order with Freaks and Geeks and Northern Exposure season 1. When I enrolled in the movie club, I was approved practically instanteously (well ok, it was the next day). I suspect this will be quick too.

Now I know I can have two memberships for me, but can the significant other half have a movie membership too?

You're allowed 2 accounts per club, per address. So, you can have 2 DVD Club accounts, 2 TV Club accounts, 2 CH.com accounts & 2 BMG CD Club accounts for 1 street address.

I might just get a 2nd TV Club. . .but only if they offer some more enrollment choices. There's just not much to choice from right now.

^ Enrollments for the TV Club are changed infrequently. But eventually Columbia House will likely shuffle the mix a bit. (I assume that you have looked at the TV EDITION - Available For Enrollment List thread stickied to the top of this forum.)
