Semi-dead disk
Popped in Wedding Crashers.... did the previews, set up audio, etc.
Push "PLAY" ... nadda! Tried going to chapters, go to the 1st one, hit play, NADDA!
Can go through most all of the features, but can't see the danged movie! Thought since it was "unrated" that I needed to change the ratings setting in my dvd player, but it was already set to allow anything to be played.
Dang it. Gotta exchange it but got this message on the site:
Guess I gotta call now. Dang it!
Of course,if I'm a dimwit and am missing something for it to play, enlighten me.

We're sorry, but according to our records no Dvd Club items have been shipped to you in the last 45 days. Columbia House does not accept items that are returned more than 45 days after they have been shipped.

Wow.
I emailed them instead of calling. They responded by saying that they are sending out a new disk, throw the old one away. Can't beat that!!

^Yes, this is how Columbia House usually deals with defective DVDs if it is first one on your account. If you have had more than one they will send out a return label and ask you to return it.
