Incompleted Order Number: To Be Assigned

It has being 24 hour since I order, it's still like this, only selection title shown, all the price is ****, what is going on

Also, when I go to the website, some of the prices are not available unless I add them to the cart, does CH look like this to everyone? What can I do to get my order shipped.

Todd_N 01-13-06 10:25 AM

I would wait 1 more day to see what happens. This happened to me about 6 months ago and I had to call up CH to get it cleared up. The Web specialist had to create a new order for me for it to go through. Make sure they put in the proper discounts (free shipping, webdvd, commitments, etc.) if that is what your original order had.
Good luck.

supaet 01-13-06 11:59 AM

Does CH like to screw with new costumers like me?

aside from that problem, I paid the enrollment balance of 12.xx already, and the balance was 0.00, then today, I saw teh balance is 12.xx AGAIN, wtf, do I need to pay again or what. Also, I put in my email address 10 times!! Each time after I put it in, I can see it in my summary, but later on when i log back in, it's GONE...something si wrong with their site big time

S.O.P.

For your other problems, try clearing your cookies and re-log in. Should be fine. Do NOT pay again!

supaet 01-13-06 01:41 PM

I gave them a call, they said they'r not seeing any order, and tell me to place the order again, Fine, i went ahead and place the same order, losing the $5 discount, fine, but after i place order, i go check the history, even the new order is **** and looks exactly like the previous failed order, does it look like that? how long it takes for me to get a order number???

EL_Cangri 01-13-06 01:47 PM

Do NOT do that. Once that happened to me, and I was sent 3 orders of Underworld because I kept placing the order again. Just wait a few days.

supaet 01-13-06 01:49 PM

crap, I just did, I called them to cancel the order, but they keep saying they dont see ANY orders, what the hell....I'll have to refuse one of the package

so after you order, your order # will nto be available till a few days later?

supaet 01-13-06 02:20 PM

I gave them another call, they say they'r not getting either orders, they say it might because I used the b1g1 thing, what the hell, any one else have that problem? Am I just that unlucky? this is my first experience with CH....

Bill Needle 01-13-06 02:44 PM

First, you need to calm down about a million per cent. :) Second, let things shake out for a few business days. They can't do anything over the phone with your web orders until they process through or die a natural death, usually that is two or three days. Call back next Tuesday and see what they can see then. Few things happen quickly with CH. Thirdly, monitor your CC charges, and if an extra one shows up then call CH and ask for a credit. You will get one the vast majority of the time. But right now, you are just digging yourself deeper. So take a breath and give it a few days.

supaet 01-13-06 03:16 PM

haha, I try, I'm new to this CH club thing. I'm just worry that if they cancel the orders, next week = b1g1 expires.....

Jake77444 01-13-06 06:43 PM

same thing is happening to me. Waiting to be assigned.

If you got an email receipt for your order you should be fine even if it is deleted. Happened to me a long time ago and I just emailed them about the problem about a week afterwards and they asked me to forward the order email receipt I had originally gotten. So, they redid my order with the webDVD discount and b1g1 promotion (that had expired by that time).
Like mentioned earlier the website can be very erratic at times to say the least and that can be very frustrating, confusing and maybe even scary for some (especially if you are new to CH). You'll get used to it and start enjoying some incredible DVD savings :)

I have the same problem (To Be Assigned). It has been about 24 hours since I placed my order and the order has not changed yet. I am just hoping that it will show up in the next couple of days. The problem is this coupon expires sunday. So do I just wait and let the coupon expire and not place the order again?? What if the order does not show up by the end of next week? Do I call customer service and demand that they honor the coupon?

Compounding the problem, I did not receive an email confirmation of my order. Did everyone that placed an order receive an email confirmation?

Bill Needle: Where you able to correct the prices on your order by calling customer service? Thanks

Sweet Baby James 01-13-06 08:15 PM

SpringsGal-I doubt that they will update your order over a holiday weekend. This happened to me last month during a B1G1 sale and I went ahead and placed a duplicate order. I then e-mailed them, explained the situation and requested that they cancel the first order if it's in the system. They did and everything worked out fine. Make sure to e-mail them at [email protected]. The online contact form is a complete waste of time, but I've always had success when I e-mailed them at this address. BTW, I received a confirmation e-mail just seconds after I placed my order. If I was a betting man, I would say that your first order is lost.

Jake77444 01-13-06 08:44 PM

I received an email order confirmation but the order confirmation doesnt have any prices listed. I'm wondering if these orders are really lost or not because its happening to so many people. I have a feeling there is no need to place another order that it will just be more of a hassle.

Order confirmation emails never show any prices.

Jake77444 01-14-06 02:01 PM

my account had my order as to be assigned as i said before now on the same account without me doing anything a new order with an order # appeared correctly. This means Columbiahouse is fixing this themselves so i recommend not reordering your order like I previously said because it will end up in more of a hassle having duplicate orders.

supaet 01-14-06 02:27 PM

ah....my first order show up as a new other, and the two duplicate is pending, but the problem is, they take off the 5 dollar discount in the order that showed up, what can i do?

Jake77444 01-14-06 03:13 PM

i just emailed at the email someone posted above to adjust the price.

sent an email asking for the webdvd discount to be applied; they responded next day apologizing for the mistake and stated that they credit the $5 back to my credit card.

what the hell....

Sweet Baby James 01-17-06 11:50 AM

supaet -did you use their online contact form or did you e-mail them directly? The online contact form will only get you canned replies. You have to e-mail them directly at [email protected] and clearly tell them what you want(make sure that you include the order number and your account number). Every single time that I have e-mailed them at this address, they've corrected the problem without hassle.:)

EDIT: I just read through this entire thread and I see that you are having a problem with your e-mail staying saved on the site. I had the same problem with my new account and I e-mailed them about it(use the same e-mail address as above) and they said that they had to add my e-mail from their main frame. Whatever they did, it worked. Make sure to mention this to them when you e-mail them about the $5 web coupon.:)

supaet 01-17-06 12:02 PM

i did email to [email protected]
it's my luck maybe, would giving them a call hellp?

Sweet Baby James 01-17-06 12:16 PM

I would try e-mailing them one more time and really spell out the situation(don't just ask for a $5 credit without telling them the entire story). Tell them about the duplicate orders and that you are entitled to the $5 credit. The key to getting what you want at CH is to be persistent and courteous.:)
