It has been a "classic" for the last several months. It comes for a bit, the it goes away, comes back for a while, goes away again - repeating cycle seemingly? Works for us. :D

Not as good as B1G1F or free shipping, but 804452 is 10% off your entire order. My e-mail said it was only good for 24 hours.

Weird, when I enter this code, the header area says the promotion is:
"GET 3 FREE DVDS when you complete your purchase agreement"

But when I click the details link it says:
Get a FREE DVD for every DVD you buy at the regular Club price ($19.95 or higher).

And when I actually start adding dvds to my cart, that's the one that it seems to actually be (buy 1 get 1). So I wonder what the whole "Get 3 free dvds" thing is all about.

That code is usually sent to persons with 3 fulfillment requirements - hence the B3G3. It is really an unlimited b0g0 - with some restrictions.

^ That sounds like the standard offer that most accounts have (varies between 50% off and 60% off). It is worthless because even at 60% off most titles cost more than the average cost of an optimized membership ($5.86 per DVD, or so). And the discounted DVDs don't count for fulfillment because they cost less than $19.95.

When fulfilling your account, the best offers tend to be "Buy One, Get One Free" (B1G1F or BOGOF) and various forms of "Free Shipping". The best is an offer that combines the two.

The best way to keep your costs low is to fulfill your account with the minimum required DVDs (except for any free DVDs you get on a B1G1F offer), ignore offers like the one you got, then close the account and open a new one. The drill here is "enroll, fulfill, cancel, repeat".
