Whats in your funcash order? Anyone else holding out?

Interested to see how some are using their funcash.
I've had numerous titles in my cart, only to trash the whole thing. I've done this about 10x's already.

Is anyone holding out till the end of redemption for next month, hoping for a 40% off boxset sale?

Is anyone holding out till the next redemption period in Dec.?? Of course, that is probably the riskiest choice, as with CH, who knows, they may bomb the whole program or make it where you can only use $10 on ANY disk!

I think I may go for a bunch of $14.95 older titles, but still undecided.

I have a whopping $11 in Funcash. I was going to order the back to the future trilogy since it would be like half off, but when I got the checkout the shipping/tax was like $8, so I said forget it. I might pick up a single 14.95 title though...Hooray.

Is there a list of all 14.99 titles anywhere?

I was just browsing the "$15 and under" section of the CH site. There is some good stuff. I checked the "$10 and under" section and it was mostly the wal-mart 5.50 dump bin crap.

Even a $14.95 title will cost you 3.95 + 2.99 shipping + tax. About the same as just getting the title in a normal membership. So basically your funcash is worth NOTHING, but at least you get an additional disc.

Getting anything other than a $14.95 would make no sense at all.

BackToTheFuture is an excellent fulfillment title, since it is just over $20. Shipping is high, but if you can hold out until "free shipping on 3" comes around again, then it's a total bargain.

Yeah I think I'm going to pass on using my funcash at all. I plan on closing this account once my other pre-order ships out so its not like I'm going to be earning any more of their magic money. Even on the 14.95 titles they only end up being like a dollar cheaper then you'd find at wal-mart.

I had $10. To me, it was only worthwhile for using it on a 9.98 title. As mentioned above, when you add tax and shipping, using it on a 14.95 title makes the price higher than an enrollment choice. So I ordered The Out of Towners (original verison). It seemed worthwhile at $3.24.

Used $30 for Dr. Strangelove 40th SE, since it's not available for enrollment. Still have $48 and I'm holding it for another week or so... Not sure what to do with it yet.

"The Woody Allen Four Comedy Collection," came out to $10.21 after the funcash discount, and 10 other single titles. $25.21 total for this funcash order, for 14 titles (169 funcash bucks used).

i am happy.

I used $23 on the Eternal Sunshine CE, since it is no longer available for enrollment. I have $30 left to use up.

Does anyone think that they will eventually carry the CE for Lemony Snicket's? How has CH handled releases for standard vs. CE titles in the past?

Had $19 in funcash, got the Public Enemy for $3.29. About half the enrollment price.

Oh well, a cheap DVD that I wanted anyway. Time to get away from CH until the enrollments catch up with my wants.

I just had $12 so I used $10 on The Tingler (regularly priced $9.95).
I believe DDD charges about $13 for it last time I looked. So I recommend it highly, very fun movie and is Vincent Price's best in my humble opinion.

I tried ten times before April 21 to redeem over the phone towards box sets, but they would not let me. So I was stuck getting regular DVDs. Here is what I got (spread over four accounts - three of which have since been cancelled):

Daylight - Collector's Edition
Scent of a Woman
The Man Who Knew Too Little
Ocean's Twelve
Meet the Fockers
House of Flying Daggers
The Silence of the Lambs Special Edition
Paths of Glory

I placed my funcash orders as soon as I could on the 20th...didn't want to risk it.

I had $100 in funcash and was able to call in to redeem it before the rule changes took effect April 21. Ended up getting Columbo Season 2, Magnum PI Season 2, and the Flinstones Season 3 for $18 with shipping and tax.

I obtained this through CH a month or two ago and I believe it is the corrected one. The first two movies are marked "V2" and the third is not. Reports on the net suggest that the third one is still the corrected version. Only the replacements sent from Universal have V2 marked on the third movie. You can probably find the details by searching the DVDtalk forum.
