A question for you all. When redeeming Funcash, do box sets come up at retail price, or at their "special price"? I want to get the new Red Dwarf volumes, which actually have a great price of 26.21 each. Will they still be that price with Funcash?

Box sets come up at Special Price, everything else at full price. However, a poster here was told by a CSR that the pricing for sets might change for the next redemption period. If sets went to full price that would be bad news...

They are the special price with funcash and you pay standard shipping and handling charges. Fox example, Godfather DVD Collection is currently listed at a Special Club Price $56.96 (List Price $75.95). You could get it for free (not including shipping) with $57 fucash.

Also, the 40% off box set sale will lower the prices even more.

i've seen a lot written about funcash and redemption with box sets? can someone clue me in what the big excitement is for this, and how it's the best way to use your funcash?

Partly because box sets are difficult to work in as fulfillments, and not available at all as enrollments. Also, they often overlap fun cash redemption with 40% off box sets retail price (normally priced at 25% off). Also, when using fun cash there is no reason to limit your order to as few selections as you need to fulfill, so if you have quite a bit (I currently have $247) you can order several sets and max out at $15 for shipping. Otherwise, many sets are $8 each for shipping.

Do we know this is happening?

One doesn't know anything for certain, though history tells us there is always a box set sale every few months.
