1$ titles on phone in only

sorry if this is a repost,

call in specail if you buy 40$ in dvds you can pick as many of these dvds you want for 1$ each

stuck on you
x2
cheaper by the dozen
wrong turn
daredevil
runaway jury

i think thats it, may have missed 1 or 2

i havent done CH in a long time, but this was a great deal

joined fri night under LMT so i got 6 for 49 cents and 1 at 9.95

total 14.27

bourne supremacy
spiderman 2
van helsing
last samurai
terminal
collateral
terminator 3

was approved this morning so called up and got my account #

then used the buy1get1 deal

total 44$ (made the mistake of buying 21.95 titles)

saw
manchurian candidate
virgin suicides
harry potter 3

and for 1$

wrong turn (unfortunatley had just purchased everyone of the 1$ dvds last week for 5$ at hollywood video)

plus the free shipping on 3 movies or more

so for 12 movies i paid roughly 60$ for about 5$ a movie ...great deal, i immediatley signed up for account # 2 to hopefully get approved before the b1g1 is over at the end of the week

i called in and was asking some basic questions on my account and asked about the b1g1 free deal, and my csr mentioned the 1$ deal to me, said they do a new "phone-in" deal every week, that you only can find out about if you call and ask

The b1g1 code died over the weekend for the web. What code did you use on the phone?

Fullfilled my account via phone with the current 50% off +10 bonus funcash dollars and FS. Got Fresh Prince S1 and Hamlet:CC at 22.46 and 22.97 to fullfill my account, as well as the Tom & Jerry Spotlight for 11.97, then there was another deal that allowed me to get one title for half off and another for free, so I got Ray and Collateral for 11.97 total. Then I found out the $1 titles also had $1 funcash, I'd imagine it would be $2 for a fullfilled account, so I kinda went wild as they were essentially free. Got about 20 total copies, will give most out as gifts, total ended up as $113, with $39 in funcash that I was then able to roll over to a DV2 account with $77 already in it. Did I "Do good?"

there was no code, i was told to call weekly and ask about weekly 'call-in' only specials, so i guess you just have to ask for it. i just talked to them again about a credit mistake, andi asked the girl about the deal and she offered me the same 1$ deal

I just got a new TV edition club membership that I want to fulfill during the free shipping. I wonder if the $1 title would count as the 3rd movie to get the free shipping. I'll try calling and find out!

I called this morning, pushed for the B1G1F offer, and the CSR'(Indian call center judging by accent) coudln't get it for me, even after checking with his supervisor. "It was good only that day sir." Best I could get was 50% off after the first one, and free shipping at $50 or more.

Have the rest of you had any better luck today?

I fulfilled my order last week with the 10% off, free shipping on Thursdays, and $5 webdvd (even on the phone). Anyway, I asked for X2, and they told me that it was only a dollar. My total was over $40, and in fact, it was over $50, which was required for the free shipping. I posted this info in the action b1g1 thread at the time. Great deal.

Who else has CH's phone number memorized? And for bonus points, who has also memorized his current account number?

I know their phone number, the quickest sequence of keys to get an operator, my current account number and the first account number I had for a long time (over a year), which I still use as a PSN and am batting 1000 with (knock on wood - just filed a web app last week, others have been by phone).

The same with me except that the number I use to get to Customer Service is an old one: 800-667-0364.

Hi, CH newbie here, need some advice from you guys. I just registered for the TV Club for the first time using the HDL code, ordered Fawlty Towers and Babylon 5 S1 for enrollment. Signed up Thursday, approved Saturday (today).

I'm wondering what's the current best deal/coupon code to fulfill my account. I know the triple/9x funcash deal is dead, so is the b1g1. This deal sounds good though, I could buy 2 titles @ $19.95 each and get another DVD for $1.
(1) Can I also stack the $5 webdvd coupon with this deal?
(2) If I understand correctly, to get the $1 DVD I have to phone in my fulfillment order. But can I use the $5 webdvd coupon on the phone?
(3) How can I get free shipping for my order? Is there a minimum purchase required? Or another coupon?

TIA

Sometimes you can get the $5 web discount over the phone, sometimes not, depends on the CSR. Combining a phone-only deal (like the $1 DVDs) with it might be more difficult. Give it a shot, though. If it doesn't work, those titles are only $4.95-6.95 online, so it's still a good deal. Also, as you probably know, you can add a regular title (new releases, 2-disc SEs, etc.) for only $10-11, so that's always a good option for the third DVD too.

The current free shipping (with 3+ titles) offer ends Monday, so get your order in soon.
