New CH code for established accounts.....
#51
I have not received my order using this code yet but I did notice that I was charged full price for my 'free' title. Also the order shows up in my account history two times once as a Mail order and another as a Prodigy order.
This is my first account after a couple of years and didn't have this sort of problem before. Do I just call them up and they will credit my account the error? Will there be an issue?//

You'll have to call them up and get a credit. I just had the same problem with an order I placed for The Ruling Class, Hearts & Minds, and Red Shoes. My total should have been $61 (B1G1 code & $5 web order). When I checked my order history the web order had been cancelled and a mail order for the same movies, but for $88 had been placed. It took forever for me to get them to credit my account, as they would not believe the coupon existed. I finally made the CSR enter the code to see that it worked. I would advise anoyone who uses a B1G1 code to save a copy of their checkout screen, just in case this happens. Unless I'm mistaken it is illegal to charge more to a CC than authorized, but CH has done it to me twice now within the past two months.

I used 854198 and 3 for $22 deal last week. My order for MIB se, Top Gun se, and Godfather for $19.10 went smooth except for one minor glitch! There was a copy of Any Given Sunday (widescreen) in the box with my order. I chalk it up as an attempt by CH to say "sorry" about screwing up several orders in the past!

What's sad is that I seen this movie and thought it was ok at best. If I had not spent hours upon hours on the phone with CH csr then I would gladly have them send a label to pick up this movie. Only problem with that is that CH would probably screw that up too, and I dont feel like correcting CH any more than I have already!
Sorry you are still waiting for your copy, I can sympathize!

I'm getting worried, things are going too well with this deal! For instance, I pre-ordered STAR TREK FIRST CONTACT, and not only did I get another $19.95 title for free (THE MALTESE FALCON--I figured that the only way they'll announce a SE for this one is if I buy it), but I got them both for the pre-order price of $16.95 (plus tax and S&H). Since they wouldn't be shipping these until Tuesday anyway, this is quite a good deal, better than I'd expect to find at a b&m even on the initial day of sale.
This does not take into consideration $8 in funcash.

Did the code work out ok on your dv2 account? I may cancel mine anyway and go to rotating between regular and tv club while having one permanent regular account. I do prefer seeing final prices and not asterisks when checking out.

Thanks OP!
Just used the $5 web order and fulfilled my LMT account with:
8 1/2: The Criterion Colllection (counts as 1 commitment)
The Red Shoes: The Criterion Collection (free)
The Third Man: The Criterion Collection (counts as 1 commitment)
Total = $56.09 (price includes shipping + tax)
So my inital enrollment was:
$13.82 for 7 DVDs
Grand Total = $56.09 + $13.82 = $69.91 for 10 DVDs
$6.991 average price with 3 Criterions ain't bad in my book

Aint bad.. however. you should have made 2 seperate orders. Get your 2 fulfillments, PLUS 2 free dvd's with b1g1 (like another criterion). Instead of the one free dvd.
Sweet deal anyhoo.

Never thought about doing it that way.
Cool thanks, I'll definitely try that next time. But doesn't it only make sense if you get an expensive selection for the free DVD? Because wouldn't doing it this way raise the average and it'd probably doesn't make sense if I only wanted a $19.95 selection.

In my research/experimentation with codes in the past I believe the first two digits can be anything -- the important part of the code is the last 4 digits. Take a known code and keep the last 4 digits the same but change the first two digits from 00 up to 99 and the code is the same, i.e. a code such as
894596
is really code xx4596 -- and you could pick any combination such as
124596
474596
934596
and all would be the exact same offer...
I haven't done much testing of late but I would say from past experience you can eliminate the first two digits as they are merely wildcards/versions of the same code. So whoever wants to enter in codes should really be looking at numbers xx0000 through xx9999... Have fun! ;-)

I just tried the following codes. None of them offered anything.
800000-800009
800010-800019
800020-800029
800030-800039
800040-800049
800050-800059
800060-800069
800070-800079
800080-800089
800090-800099
800100-800109
800110-800119
800120-800129
I'm still kicking myself for not fulfilling my newest account when the last one was in effect. Since I tried those for myself, I just thought I'd let the rest of you guys know. I hope someone else has better luck.

You mean you stopped at only 129 tries? Come on Emma, you gotta ask yourself if you want it bad enough anymore
Okay, we all work together, we can find this thing. Let's get going. I'll take 806725-806890
