Anyfreeegift is a bunch of deadbeats?

I have been sending emails to anyfreegift for a while now. I have never gotten a response. The issue is as follows:
I completed one of their offers last July or August. I waited for a few months for trhem to post it to my account. I was OK with that. I immediately (10/2004) printed the offers and mailed them in. I had seen from other complaints on the web about these guys that they took several monthes to send out the merchandise, so I was trying to be patient. The merchandise never came, and when I went to the status site, they marked the offer as expired. I have been emailing them ever since, but they do not even respond to emails and there is no other contact mechanism. I am dissapointed with these guys and would reccomend others to bypass their offers.

I signed up with them on 1/13/05 and my 2 offers still show 'in progress' status. Hopefully I won't get burnt...

kfede1, you should file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in their area.

Anyfreegift is known to rip people off. I have heard they are owned by the company that runs yourgiftcards.com and yourfreedvds.com which are also known to rip off people. Some people do receive their stuff but it is after months like you said. Someone on another site received their gift after 4 months.

Sorry guys. I deleted it. It was turning up really high on Google/Yahoo searches, and I didn't want some poor soul signing up for any more of their offers and being conned out of their prize.

Hey Ruk, did you ever hear back from ClickFreeGifts?

One of my 2 offers I completed for Anyfreegift.com is now showing as 'completed'. The other is still in progress. Both offers were completed on 1/13/05.

cardgiver

I haven't even gotten to the pending approval stage in cardgiver over a month after completing eFax. Any tips? Anyone got contact info other than email (seems to do nothing).

I got my certificates from anyfreegift.com and sent them in 9 weeks ago. Here's the email I got today:

Hello,

I have verified that your paperwork has been received. However, we have
been experiencing difficulties obtaining many of the gift items due to
the availability issues. You should receive your gift within 2-4 weeks.
We apologize for the delay.

hey contact them, they are a real pain, send them an email from your email account at [email protected]. Basically you have to send them mutiple emails every day for probably a week and then you get a response, my gift card has been approved for 2 months and i already sent them the certificate, still no gift card yet.

also attach the confirmation email from efax when you send cardgiver an email.

thanks for the tip ruk. I've been sending 1 email a day, but I guess I'll step it up.

xpfhost and others,
when you send certificates with DC, does this mean you're sending them priority mail?

'DC' = Delivery Confirmation

I usually ask the Post Office what's the cheapest way to send an envelope and have proof that it has been delivered.

Yes, you need to send them via priority mail if you send them with Delivery Confirmation.

I send them First-Class and Certified. It comes out to $2.30 + $.37 = $2.67. You can also add Return Receipt at the same time for an additional $1.75 (or $1.30 for internet notification). I usually skip Return Receipt since you can still get it after the envelope is mailed (you would pay for this only if you felt that it was delivered and the person you mailed it to said they didn't get it) for an additional $3.25. Priority Mail starts at $3.85 + $.45 Delivery Confirmation = $4.30, but may get there faster.

hi, I signed up for cardgiver.com on Jan 10 and completed an offer. I was approved like Feb 12th or so. I printed my redemption certificate and sent it in. It says on their website that it takes 2-4 weeks to get your gift card. So after that time, I emailed them and kept getting a computer generated generic response. So I decided that I would write them a letter to the address listed on their website. And today, via mail, I didnt receive a gift card, but I did receive a $50.00 check. So if you are not getting anything, I suggest that you write them a letter and send it out via US mail.
