Something is missing from my enrollment package..

I signed up using the 'Buy a 6th DVD for $9.95', which required a PSR number. I used an old account number (I forfilled the commitment a while ago).

So I signed up for the following DVDs (during checkout)

Lost in Translation
Scarface Anniversary Edition
Good Bye, Lenin!
The Shawshank Redemption
The Italian Job
Saved!

But I got an E-mail saying they'll only ship out... (if processed)

Lost in Translation
Scarface Anniversary Edition
Good Bye, Lenin!
The Shawshank Redemption
The Italian Job

As you can see, I'm missing 'Saved!'; what is going on?

It could be that they are temporarily out of stock on Saved!. If so, you should get a raincheck with your enrollment package.

When I enrolled, my sixth selection wasn't part of the e-mail they sent me, but when I got access to the website, the selection was there, in the order history.

It did end up shipping with the rest of my enrollment package, with no problems.

One time, I didn't get one DVD in my enrollment package and I just emailed them. It was no big deal.

That's happened to me too obi. Five were sent in the initial package and the sixth shipped separately about a week later. I just encountered something stranger in the enrollment pacage I received yesterday - one of my selections (Speed Racer Vol. 2) had a Best Buy price sticker on it. WTF?

Bestbuy sticker? Oh this cannot be good.

If one of your selections is out of stock, rather than hold up your enrollment package Columbia House will issue a raincheck. This will allow you to buy any enrollment DVD you want for free. By the time you get the raincheck the DVD you wanted may be back in stock, unless it was discontinued or something.

While you can mail in a raincheck with your selection number, the best way to use it is to call, tell the CSR that you have a raincheck on your account, and then give him or her the selection number of the DVD you want.

I would suggest waiting until you get the enrollment package first, to verify that you only got five DVDs and that they really did issue a raincheck. Your invoice will tell you what is going on.

Yep, it was the little yellow square Best Buy sticker. The stickered price was $17.99. I wonder how the hell that happened, and why? Maybe CH is buying excess inventory from BB?

I signed up for an account yesterday and the confirmation email (not acceptance) was the same way as obi_ant's. The 5 $0.49 titles were listed, but the 6th title at $9.95 wasn't listed. I don't remember if it was this way in the past, but this is the first time I recall noticing it. Based on freedexter's experience, it's probably just a new 'feature' of their system.

Yep, I had the same exact situation as well. Confirmation Email listed only my first 5 selections, but they haven't yet been shipped to me so I'm not sure if I'll get my 6th. Feels better knowing this seems to be a trend though.

My last several memberships have been the same way - I complete the application with 6 titles, print it out, then get the email showing only 5 titles. The good news is ..... all six do indeed show up in the enrollment package.

Their site is so weird .....

Just got my membership approval and the 6th title missing from the 'Thank You' email shows up in the order history.

This happened to me too and I called them about it and they corrected it and sent me the DVD. The weird thing about it was that they sent me a bill for it rather than billing my card. I didn't notice, since I rarely read through their mail and I got hit with a $3 late fee. Look out for that.

I had the same thing happen to me. Does anyone know if Dial M For Murder and Strangers on a Train are backordered?

This always happens to me on enrollment orders. The 6th DVD never is shown on the initial email, but I always get it.
