If Universal is back then that means that we ought to be able to get the Serenity DVD from CH by this time next year. That would be nice.

If you click specialty shops, and go to the "Keep It Simple Sale", you will find many discounted Fox DVDs (no other purchase necessary). Some of the titles include Predator CE, Planet of the Apes 35Th Anniversary Edition, X2, LXG, etc. All of these DVDs should be no more than $6.95.

I am assuming that CH is getting rid of their final Fox studio DVDs; however, there are some other studios included in this sale. Some of the Fox DVDs are pictured on the main sale page though.

Also, be careful with that Planet Of The Apes on sale,it's the fullscreen version. CH is out of the widescreen version, more evidence that Fox is done. :(

Thanks for the warning Basaro. I was considering both Planet of the Apes (1968) and X2, but they're both full screen. Oh well, if I had really wanted them I would have bought them by now....

I am seeing widescreen versions for both the planet of the apes and x2....they are mixed in with their fullscreen counterparts.

The only WS Planet of the Apes I see is the 2001 remake.

Also, like you said, I see both WS & FS versions of X2 for $6.95
