yeah, it has the same UPC code.

MGM has done this to a ton of movies (i.e. making a 2-disc or double-sided SE into a single sided regular edition while keeping the same UPC #):
Bull Durham, Jeepers Creepers, Legally Blonde, Bowling For Columbine, Thelma & Louise, etc.

So you're saying the artwork is the same as the one on the website, but it doesn't have all the features? Does it say "Special edition"?

Correct. It does not say special edition, but has the same upc as the special edition. Nice job MGM.

Spammer was gone in about a half hour last night (edit - wow, 15 minutes, good job mods) - site sells cheap import knockoffs in plastic sleeves.

I hope everyone fills her mailbox with their warmest regards - I already have

Wanted to ask a question on this, does anyone happen to know when exactly the 3 for $25 deal will end? I really wanted to pick up alot more but after I opened my new account I got caught up into Hastings 2 for $10 and kind of neglected this and am not sporting much money now. Thanks for any news.

So the 3 for 25 definitely doesn't count as a fulfillment title right? I swear I read somewhere in a FAQ or something on this site that it did in an example of maximizing your account (the author averaged a little over 5 dollars a dvd thanks to two 3 for 25 deals), but it didnt work for me and at least 1 other person in this thread.

Since the site isn't updated in realtime, I wanted to be sure before I do it again.

The 3 for $25 deal DOES count as 1 fulfillment, the site just does not show it correctly as a fulfillment. You have to call in to CH and talk to customer service and they will adjust it accordingly.

Yep. Or you can also email them. Done this twice already.

I ordered the following a few days back:

Jerry Maguire
Minority Report
Catch Me If You Can
Above the Rim
La Femme Nikita
Once Upon A Time In The West

Hopefully it works as the fulfillment correctly or I will have to send an e-mail or two to get it fixed. For those who have done this more often than I (really being my first account) - how long does it take to get an order number to show up? I believe I did this on the 29th but it still says Incompleted Order Number: To Be Assigned. Thanks in advance for your answers.

My order seems to have been deleted from the website. I had mentioned in my previous post how the order was not given an order number on the site and much of the information (other than the discs titles) had askerisks instead of the price, etc. I got an e-mail confirming the order back on the 29th and I printed out the receipt when I did the order so if they try and give me problems on the order I will at least have documentation to back myself up. Anyone else have problems like this with the 3 for $25.00 fulfillment deal?

What day did you order?

If it wasn't Sunday then your titles must be out of stock now, the samething happened with Patton. They removed it from my order on the website, but credited my account.

I am having the same problem. I ordered 9 titles before the end of free shipping for my fulfillments (total $70 with $5 web deal). The order showed correctly for a day, then went to pending with asterisks for prices on all 9 titles and hasn't changed for a week now.
I certainly plan to call CSR if it doesn't go through (probably will have to anyway to get my fulfillment credit)

I made the order last Wednesday..so a week ago. I could see if some were out of stock, but who other than me would want Above the Rim . Terry, let me know how you make out. I'll probably wait until I hear back from them by e-mail before I give them a call. I figure I should hear back from them by sometime tomorrow or the day after at the latest. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

How long before your account will be adjusted if you sent an email?

Any $19.95 titles?
Yes, but they're pretty limited. G.I. Joe: The Movie is the only one I ordered that is 19.95. If you have the last CH catalog, on just about every page, there was a little corner with a few "take 3" titles. Occasionally there would be one that was 19.95.

Jurassic Park
The Piano
Donnie Darko
Gods and Monsters
The Elephant Man
Edward Scissorhands
G.I. Joe: The Movie
The Talented Mr. Ripley
Say Anything. . .
Minority Report
Wonder Boys
The Conversation

I received an e-mail from them early this morning, stating that they were sorry my previous order was not received. They processed a new order with my selected titles, applying the $5.00 first time web order discount..but of course they charged me the wrong amounts for the titles, as well as charged me shipping. I'll probably wait until the website has updated to see if they messed anything else up before I contact them again, but maybe I will just e-mail them while I'm at work later.

First time I did it, took about 2 days. Second time it was on the same day.
