The Box Sets are all right now on a %40 sale. But, if you put them in your fun cash cart, they're more like %60 off. I snatched Transformers Season 1 for $28 of funcash! Shipping is still atrocious ($7 for the aforementioned), but it beats a sharp stick in the eye.

I found the answer to my own question:

16. Do items redeemed with FunCash count toward my purchase agreement?

Yes, any item that has a purchase price of $19.95 or more after you have applied FunCash to the advertised purchase price, will count toward fulfillment of your purchase commitment.

My credit card was charged on one account, and the current balance was updated on another account which I selected "Bill Me" option. So I suppose the deal went through for me. Not sure for some of you who placed some "outstanding" boxsets. I hope it goes through for all.

FYI - The $ are the normal 25% off of the 40% discounted sale $. Or, basically a 55% off sale.

Since the S&H maxes @ $15, maxing the cart is the best way to go. The ONLY downside for me on this is the tax people in TX now have to pay. Oh well.

This is evil. I was originally only going to get the Robocop trilogy ($14.98 with my $3 in fun cash) but now I might have to go all out and snag the ST:Voyager sets ($58.48 each). Decisions, decisions - these forums are so bad on my wallet!

At one point I had several hundred dollars in my basket (with a whopping $1 fun cash to apply!), but I walked away for a bit and came back to order only the sets I actually wanted as opposed to some of the "nice to haves." This helped an awful lot. So I picked up some sets I would have already bought some other time but the price was just too steep. I did pretty much clean out the high end of my wanted list, that's for sure.

How are some of you are not charged tax with your orders? Does it have to do with the deal you initially joined with?
