I just ordered 2 titles yesterday (I got sick of waiting) one was a pre order ,and got a free shipping email today hmmm.
so I called Cust Service and canceled the pre-order. The second title was already shipped so I was told to send it back when I got it.

^ I did two...I did it late at night and considered cancelling the orders, but I figured my $5 off a weborder would be lost then, so whats the point?

What's the best way to fulfill an account when you only have 2 more to buy and still get free shipping?
From now on with the buy 5+3, should I not purchase the 6th enrollment in anticipation of free shipping?

If you can find movies you like, the 3-for-$25 is a great deal when combined with free shipping. The problem is, there are only 140 $14.95 dvds to choose from - there are some good ones, but mostly pretty popular titles that most serous collectors would have.
Jerry Maguire 2-disc SE was the only higher-valued disc (at other sites) I got when I fulfilled last week.
Average price fulfilling this way right now is $5.20 (with or without the $14.95 bonus selection).

Hey Eric F - dontcha read the other boards? You can only get overpriced crap from CH.
I also picked up Roman Holiday for my fulfillment - would have gotten the other ones you listed, but I already had them.
Also got:
American Wedding Ex Party Ed
Jerry Maguire 2-disc SE
Face/Off
Odd Couple
Officer and a Gentleman
How did you fulfill with just those 4 titles?

How do you get this for only $3.33????

Oh crap. Yeah, well now I see, although I wish someone could have mentioned in this thread that 3=1 for that promotion. I swear, CH does these things purposely to screw you up.
Now I have to contact CH by phone which has the potential for even more screw ups and try and get them to apply my $5 web discount again.

When you say you got 10 discs, I assume you mean the 5 free, 1 for $14.95, then you needed 2 sets of 3 to fulfill - you only listed 4 discs, not 6.
Edit - I did mention it in the thread I started last week. It also should have shown up under the "counts toward commitment" column in your cart as .33 per DVD.
Any time you have a sale such as 4 for $30 earlier this year, or 2 for $20 I fulfilled with last year - it is always 1 batch of sale DVDs = 1 fulfillment.

I'd much rather have the 4 for $30 instead of the 3 for $25. At least I'd get to choose the $14.95 DVDs I really want.
Of course, with what Fry's has been offering every other week (3/$20,2/$12), I almost think it would be better for me to wait a bit & see what Fry's comes up with next(in the way of selection).

I thought the 3 for $25 deal counted towards fulfillment? I needed 2. Did I make a mistake?

Also, since there is Free S&H, just do order another 3 titles from the 3 for $25 deal.
Your net price will still be the same by doin' it this way.

Got 5 movies yesterday, fulfilled my account and got the free shipping. After I actually get them all, (some were pre-orders), I will close the acct. Then I think I'm done with CH, especially since I have been using a different means to build my DVD collection.

The CSRs suck these days! I'm on the phone and she's giving me a hard time, saying 3 for $25 and Free Shipping are online only.
Then she goes away, supposedly to speak to a "supervisor" and says she can give me the discount but with only 1 commitment after I specifically asked for 2.
I finally got her to place the order correctly after putting up a big stink. Clearly she could have done this right off, but wanted to make it as difficult as possible for me to get the 2 commitments at the lowest price.
I suppose that's what we have to deal with to save money, although it leaves a sour taste in my mouth...
