Free shipping haikus

The summer rolls by...
But shipping charges remain
They mock me like mimes.

Three months used to be
This sale's normal frequency
Back in the old days

When wilt thou return?
Do not leave me unfulfilled!
I tire of waiting...

I got free shipping on one of my last orders (when I ordered 3 titles), but then I didn't get free shipping on another order similar to that one. The little booklet that comes with each order states that you get free shipping on orders of 3 titles or more through July.

Has anyone tested this out online?

I can get free shipping on an all on sale account. Interesting situation: When I add a third title to get F/S I tried using a "summer sale" dvd. These evidently do not count as one of your 3 for F/S. I get charged shipping until I put one of the 14.95's (on sale for 9.95) into the cart. I was able to add Last Action Hero to the cart, and get F/S. This is a regular 9.95 title on sale for 5.95 (though not part of the summer sale).

Now i'm sure you could call or email and get f/s with a summer sale dvd as the third, but to avoid that hassle I will go with Last Action Hero. I will also get 3 other summer sale 5.95ers just for the heck of it.

To be a little more detailed, when I say the "little booklet," I mean the Columbia House TV Club "TV on DVD" brochure for July 2004. Right along the bottom it states:

"ALL DVDs on SALE! No other purchase necessary!
Plus, get FREE SHIPPING when you order 3 or more!"
See page 2 for details.

And on another note, I'm not exactly sure why I usually get the TV Club booklet, because I joined the DVD Club on this account.

F/S is apparently the standard offer for the DVD TV Club IF you're fortunate enough to have the AOS as your current offer.

Ya we dont care if people have free shipping on their tv on dvd club.

We are interested if people have free shipping on their regular dvd club account.

Does anyone have that?

Yes, I do, but it's an account that has been fulfilled for several months.

I have 2 accounts that have both been fulfilled since the last free shipping deal was alive, and neither have free shipping available currently.
