I may end up buying GotG from here, as there seem to be 4 different versions of the film (including the BB exclusive) and I want to check to see what the special features situation looks like. As usual I'll be swayed by the special features, even if the format is not of my preference.

Was there at store opening this morning.
There was a HUGE line at the doors - probably for "Guardians Of The Galaxy".
Anyhow, the store only had two copies of "Under The Dome" season two with exclusive DVD. As in two for each BD and DVD formats.
Good and bad...
Good: Got a copy for myself.
Bad: The bonus disc has ZERO to do with the show.
It features two premiere episodes of "NCIS: New Orleans" and "Scorpion". Above is the menu screen. The disc came in a larger than normal printed CD sleeve. The artwork features images from the UTD and text for the bonus episodes.
So, unless you want that, then no. I wouldn't bother trying to find this exclusive. I bought it since I was there. But I left disappointed.
By the way, this exclusive isn't listed on their website, just the print ad.

Wow, that is a terrible bonus disc. The studios are getting stingier with bonus content, so there is less and less of it to spread around.

I'm skipping Under the Dome, but as far as the exclusive goes then I think I recall seeing something similar once before, maybe a couple of years ago? My very vague memory is that it was another title I wasn't interested in, and so didn't pay much attention. Sorry that I can't better remember. I definitely can see how that would be disappointing, hopefully you'll enjoy the season enough to make up for it.

I got a $10 e-mail coupon good on almost anything in the store, as a please come back message from the CEO:
I was convinced (he did include a pic, which means he's honest right?) and figured that combined with the $5 off coupon they'd e-mailed me a few weeks ago then I could find something to buy for $15 off.
Long story short, I did buy something and the $10 coupon worked the same as a gc, but they wouldn't accept the older $5 coupon for anything at a 50% (or better) discount, which was what I was trying to do. Alas. But that one's still good until mid-January, and I have a $25 gc coming from mycokerewards which may reach me by then, so hopefully I'll find something that makes less than 50% off msrp worthwhile. I'll see.
Meanwhile, I hope some others get this offer too. As before, the only thing I'm aware of doing is never ever giving them my Rewards info (because their former employee / the thief who stole my identity, transferred everything into his/her/it's name and I haven't been able to locate it for nearly a decade). The occasional coupons like this are nice though.

Went to several best buys while out and about xmas shopping on Wednesday and no one had that stinking steel book. I got that $10 coupon too
