Re: Target DVD prices (August 10th - 16th, 2014)
The Blacklist interests me. I don't know that I want to pay that much for the exclusive dossier (really don't care about the packaging), but maybe. I'll check it out in-store.
Also interested in Bitten S1, which doesn't seem to be in either ad. I shall see.
As usual, thanks for the info.

Re: Target DVD prices (August 10th - 16th, 2014)
Thanks for the info on Bitten.
Objectively I'd call the show mediocre. Good premise with an execution ranging from decent to lackluster.
Unless you're a particular fan of werwolves or Laura Vandervoort, she's of course in it a lot. Or if you're comparing it to the rest of the god-awful year that syfy is having, in that company (this year of Lost Girl, Haven, Helix, Dominion, Defiance, etc.) it's definitely worthwhile.

Re: Target DVD prices (August 10th - 16th, 2014)
I used to like Lost Girl, but felt that it's been going downhill, and was particularly disappointed with this last Season 4. Imo the entirety of Bitten (which imo was uneven with noticeable highs and lows), was better, though of course you might end up feeling differently.
So I'd guess that I would say Bitten has some merit, but I'd recommend not setting your expectations too high if you do try it, and perhaps you might be pleasantly surprised?
