I was hoping for a bit better price on Masters of Sex. Very well done show though, without a doubt among the best of last year.

Nothing on The Bridge S1, Lost Girl S4 or Witches of East End S1 though. *sigh*

Also, no mention of the movies Blood Ties and Some Velvet Morning, which I also have some interest in.

Hopefully BB will be better. Thanks for the info.

Are you sure that there was exclusive content for MoS? I saw it in store and didn't notice anything like that, beyond that the BR has a couple of small special features that the DVD doesn't.

My store didn't have any copies when I got there this afternoon. I asked, they said they got ONE (DVD) copy. Both formats had sold out.

Reading online, it appears that both the BD and DVD versions got a bonus disc, sealed on the back; in a CD envelope. The DVD edition has a sticker, but the Blu-Ray does not.

I was told they would get a restock tomorrow. And perhaps some more copies with the exclusive. I'll check in the morning.

Interesting. The first Target I went to never got MoS, and the second one had one each of the BR & DVD. I physically picked them both up, and didn't see any Target Exclusive stickers, but maybe they had sold out already?

Of course I was also distracted by the fact that they weren't carrying yesterday's new releases of Blood Ties, Some Velvet Morning, Bridge S1, Lost Girl S4 or Witches of East End S1. I know they don't carry everything, but %$#@!

If there really is an exclusive then I'm glad you mentioned it though. I was going to wait on this, but liked the show enough that I'll buy it now if the exclusive is even halfway decent (and I can find it).

Man, it pays to go in the morning.

My store did in fact restock, several... but only two copies with the exclusive - one for each format.

It appears my data wasn't as accurate as I hoped.

Both the DVD and BD copies DO have a sticker on them indicating that there is a bonus disc, the DVD is inside the case, not sealed on back - though it does come inside a CD envelope.

The Blu-Ray comes with a slipcover, DVD does not.



The bonus disc has a run time of 11:22 minutes.

I wasn't going to buy this set until much later. I somehow dropped the ball on this and did not see at the time that there was an exclusive.

Change of plans.

This is a blind buy, I hope it lives up to the hype.

Yeah, I was surprised that not even Best Buy has S4 of "Lost Girl". They sold the other seasons. In fact, the series isn't even on their shelves - my store didn't. I did see "Witches Of East End", I'll probably pick that up at a later date.

7th Target today was a lucky charm. I found 1 DVD left, and there were 3 BR's.

In my searching I actually found 2 of the Target's that got in the BR but not the DVD, and they hadn't even put the BR out yet, to boot. Somehow they were just the non-exclusive version though.

I don't know, but of course I don't know why Target would go to the trouble of getting an exclusive and not putting it in the ad?

I'm just glad I got it though, I would have been quite bummed if I'd missed out. Thanks for mentioning it.

Bridge S1 suddenly was showing up at some Target's today, but I'm not paying nearly so much for it as the $30 range that it was in. I'm sorry to see that BB skipped Lost Girl this time around, I got S3 from them. I enjoyed Witches, but it's definitely not life-changing in any way, shape or form.
