I saw the two new Warners releases of the 60's SUPERMAN and BATMAN Filmation cartoons at Costco, on the shelf a month before their scheduled release and selling for $11.99 each.

I noticed that Target had DC Comics Super Heroes: The Filmation Adventures, Vol. 2 in store, despite that their website says that they don't carry it in-store. Is that related to either of those you mention?

No, that is a one disc compilation of some Filmation shorts that were previously released in a more complete set. Basically, it's a repackaging without everything that was in earlier sets. The ones I saw at Costco are brand new sets with previously unreleased cartoons.

Saw the Superman set not Batman at my Costco. It was seasons 2 and 3 which is the new set.

Picked up the Superman set(thanks OP) but am waiting on the Batman set. Wanted to make sure that it's different from the already released set.

Also picked up Rockford Files season 2 for $9.99. Only saw season 1 and 2 but was wondering if anyone else saw 3 and up?

EDIT: okay, this looks like a new cartoon set of Batman so I'll have to go back at some point.
